2011 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter - Roadmaster Standard Magnetic Tow Lights

  • Removable Tail Light Kit
  • Bypasses Vehicle Wiring
  • Magnetic Mount
  • Universal
  • Roadmaster

Avoid tapping into your towed Mercedes-Benz Sprinter's electrical system by using these self-contained tow lights. Heavy-duty magnets keep lights securely in place on your towed car.

Features:

  • Allows you to legally tow your car without having to tap into its wiring
  • Eliminates risk of electrical damage to towed car
  • Attaches securely with magnets
  • Connects directly to motor home wiring, bypassing towed vehicle completely
  • Has heavy-duty vinyl casing for superior protection of wiring
  • Meets Department of Transportation standards
  • Fits all vehicles
  • Includes 2 lights and wiring harness with 4-pole flat trailer connector
  • Length of wire:
    • Wire that connects the lights: 53-1/2"
    • Wire that extends out the back of the light: 243"
    • Wire with 4-pole connector: 35-1/2"
  • Limited Lifetime Warranty

The law requires that all towed cars have functional signal and brake lights in sync with the RV towing them. Most wiring kits require you to splice into your vehicle's electrical system, but doing this can void your manufacturer's warranty. Magnetic tow lights avoid this problem by having the wiring run underneath your car and plug into your power source.

Avoid tapping into your towed vehicle's electrical system by using these self-contained tow lights. Heavy-duty magnets keep lights securely in place on your towed car.

These lights have worked flawlessly for the whole 2023 camping season on my RV towed vehicle. I mount them on the rear of the roof so they are nice and high above bicycles on a hitch mounted rack.

by:

Extremely happy with the tow bar wiring. Not one problem for the year!

by:
Jeep

They were shipped fast and arrived quickly. These are quality lights with very strong magnets. I installed them on my Jeep in no time after making some steel brackets for the tubular aluminum bumper. Would be nice to have 5 or 6 magnetic clips to place along the wire to secure it to the vehicle. I highly recommend these lights.

Timely receipt. have not installed yet. but the instructions seem simple enough.

by:
2005 Subaru Forester

I like these lights, nice strong magets hold them securely to car roof. I use them because my bikes in bags cover my tail lights. I added LED bulbs because when I tow the car with my RV these additional lights put to much load causing voltage drop and dim lights.

These lights are still working well only improvement I could suggest is if they could somehow maybe put up plastic layer between the magnets and the roof because they’re taking paint off, if they could still make the magnet is strong.

Jeep Wrangler

I purchased the Curt Tow Bar with Adjustable-Width Arms - Car Mount - 2" Ball - 5,000 lbs. initially I was Leary of the product because of its low price compared to other tow bars. I now can say my concerns were needless because after flat towing my Wrangler over 5,000 trouble-free miles I have nothing negative but only positives to report. The best thing I like about the tow At is that it only takes 5 minutes to attach and unhook.

by:

by:

Fast delivery. Did a test as soon as I received the light kit. Flawless. Magnets very strong but safe for car finish.

by:

Heavy duty magnets gave me the security of knowing they wouldn’t come off. Very easy to install!

by:

I did a mock-up set-up and this kit works as advertised.
Magnetic bases are strong, it should fit my needs perfectly.

by:

lights look fine....

easy hitch
is far better than I expected....very nice. I should have gotten this sooner!!!

by:

Very simple product. Exactly what I wanted. I need to do something more permanent but this worked for our trip. The most important thing was I needed it fast and I got it in time.
Friendly and informative people on the phone were knowledgeable and new their product. I will shop here again.

  • Base Plate Kit, Tow Bar, Safety Cables, and Wiring Needed to Flat Tow a 2008 Ford Fusion
The Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit, # 4411-1, is just the first piece of the puzzle to flat tow your 2008 Ford Fusion. Please note that this base plate kit will only work if you have a manual transmission. If you have an automatic, skip to the end. If you do have a manual transmission, there are several more pieces to the puzzle but do not worry, I will help you find the edges. This base plate kit is compatible with tow bars that accept the XL series. I recommend the RoadMaster Falcon 2...

  • Parts Needed to Flat Tow a 2015 Chevy Sonic Behind an RV with an Aventa II Tow Bar
Yes, I am happy to report that the Blue Ox base plates # BX1703 will work with your Aventa II tow bar BX7335. In addition to the tow bar and base plates you will need a few other items to flat tow your 2015 Chevy Sonic if you don't have them already. First you will need safety cables, # BX88196, which are rated for 5,000 pounds. For lighting you have some options. You could use a simple magnetic kit, # RM-2120, or for a more permanent installation you could use bulb and socket kit # RM-155....

  • Parts Needed to Flat Tow a 2012 Chevy Equinox AWD Behind a Motor Home
I checked the owner's manual online for a 2012 Chevy Equinox with All-wheel drive and you can flat tow it behind a motor home. Take a look at the recreational towing section (10-78) in the owner's manual to confirm. As far as a rear towing package I assume that you mean a trailer hitch. The trailer hitches that fit a 2012 Equinox will actually fit 2005 to 2016 Equinox models; such as Curt Class III hitch # 13591. But the hardware will have to be replaced since it is designed to be torqued...

  • Parts Needed to Flat Tow a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Behind a Moving Truck
The first thing you are going to want to do is consult the owners manual for your 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee to make sure the vehicle can be flat towed and, if so, what the proper procedure is. There are at least 5 items you will need to flat tow a vehicle: base plates, tow bar, safety cables, lighting, and supplemental braking. For base plates you can use Blue Ox # BX1115. There are a few different tow bars that are compatible with these base plates: the Avail, # BX7420, rated for 10,000...

  • Parts Needed to Flat Tow a 1966 Volvo 122S Wagon Behind a 2017 Honda Ridgeline
Normally the first thing you would do is consult the vehicle owner's manual on whether or not your 1966 Volvo 122 can be towed with all 4 wheels on the ground. But I doubt they covered that back in 1966. The curb weight of your Volvo is approximately 5,300 pounds so the Stowmaster's 6,000 pound rating can handle that. However there aren't any custom fit base plates to attach to the front of the Volvo. I would usually recommend going with Blue Ox universal base plates, # BX88266, but they...

If you use the Roadmaster to Blue Ox Base Plate Adapter, part # RM-031, you could indeed use your Falcon 2 tow bar with the Blue Ox # BX2673 base plates.
