Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this Replacement Single-Acting Lift Cylinder for the Western Hydraulic Snow Plow. Now, this part will replace the single acting lift cylinder on your Western snow plow. It will replace the Western part number 25210. Basically the rod portion right up here is what will extend and retract inside the cylinder to lift and lower the blade so you can easily clear the roads. One port right down here allows the pressing power of the single-acting cylinder. And a few specs on this.
The stroke of the cylinder is 6". The bore size of the cylinder is 2" diameter. And to retract its length, which will be measured from the center of this hole to the center of this hole, is going to be right at 13-1/4". So, the extended length when that cylinder opens all the way, it's got a 6" stroke, so it would be 19-1/4" for the extended length. Now the rod diameter on the active end, this is the active end right up here, it is going to be right at 1-7/16".
And the base diameter, which is this portion down here, the inactive end, that is going to be right at 1-1/2". We mentioned it has the single port right here. The port type is a 1/4" NPT threads, and the port configuration is in-line.But that should do it for the review on the Replacement Single-Acting Lift Cylinder for the Western Hydraulic Snow Plow.
