Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com.Today we're going to take a look at this replacement, single acting lift cylinder for your Western hydraulic snowplow. It has an eight inch stroke. Now this will replace a single acting lift cylinder on your Western snowplow. It is designed to replace the Western part number 56538K. Basically, this rod right here was what will extend and retract inside the cylinder, to lift and lower the blade so that you can easily clear the roads.
Has one port right down here that allows the pressing power of the single acting cylinder. That port type is a number 6SAE, and the port configuration is 90 degrees.A few specs on this. The stroke we mentioned is eight inches. Now the retracted length like it's in right now, if we measure that from the center of this pin hole to the center of this pinhole, that's going to be right at 15 and a quarter inches. I mentioned the eight inch stroke.
So the extended light compass 00:00:00:56 will make it 23 and a quarter inches from pinhole pin to pinhole when this cylinder's extended out. The pinhole diameter on each end is three quarters of an inch. The rod diameter is going to be one and a half inches and the base diameter on the other end is one and three quarter inches.But that should do it for the review on this replacement, single acting lift cylinder for the Western hydraulic snowplows.
