Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna take a look at this etrailer Ratcheting Tie-Down Strap with double J-hooks. This heavy-duty ratcheting tie-down strap is going to let you secure your cargo in your truck bed or trailer. This two inch wide and 20 foot long strap has a safe working load limit of 1,333 pounds and a maximum load or brake strength of 4,000 pounds. Now, this features a durable polyester webbing, and this is going to be abrasion resistant, and as you can see, it's a bright yellow color, it has a high visibility. Of course, it has our etrailer logo on it as well. And this sturdy ratchet is going to make it very easy to tighten down and maintain tension on the strap, and this features a large bar handle with a grip on here that's going to give you a really nice solid grip, and I think it's even wide enough for you to be able to use this while wearing gloves.

As you can see, I can fit four of my fingers through there with no problems. And of course, I just wanna give you a brief demonstration of how this is going to work. So as you can see, it's gonna be very simple to tighten this down, and this is going to be in the closed position, and then when you want to release the tension on this, you're just gonna simply lift up this lever here, that's going to open it completely up, and then you're gonna be able to freely pull that out as much as you needed, and then, you can just ratchet that back up. (Andy ratcheting the strap) So again, very easy to use, very solid ratcheting system. And this also features these coated double J-hooks, and as you can see, they are welded here for maximum strength and durability.

So these are going to give you hassle-free connections to your anchor points, and because they're coated, they're not going to scratch or scuff your gear or equipment. Now, tie-down straps and their accessories must be chosen according to their safe working load limit. The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined working load limit of the straps that are being used. So for example, if you are using straps with a working load limit of 500 pounds each to tie-down a load weighing 1,000 pounds, then you will need at least two straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.
