Notes:

  • Designed for intermittent use only - continuous running under higher pressures may reduce pump life.

Self-Priming Water Pump

This motorized pump can be used as a direct replacement for any OEM RV or marine pump and lets you supply a smooth, consistent flow to the fresh water system in your RV, camper, or boat. The diaphragm-style pump has a self-priming design. The sealed, flexible diaphragm creates a vacuum that draws in the water, allowing the pump to self-prime. This design eliminates air pockets in the pipeline - also known as air binding - for a steady, uninterrupted stream of water to your faucet or other fresh water source. It has the ability to prime up to 6' vertically and 30' horizontally. The pump also features an internal check valve that prevents backflow contamination of your clean water supply.

The pump has been thoroughly freeze and thaw tested for up to 5 two-hour cycles, and it was tested with a higher pressure at shutoff than other water pumps.

Heavy-Duty Motor

The heavy-duty motor operates quietly without any disturbances and features ball bearings that enable it to have a long life. It doesn't have a rotating seal that will burn up, allowing it the ability to run dry without causing any damage.

The motor also has an integrated thermal breaker that interrupts operation when the motor becomes too hot in order to protect it from overheating. When the temperature of the motor drops, the breaker automatically resets.

Water-Resistant Design

This enclosed, water-resistant pump has sealed switches that keep moisture from getting in. The electrocoating finish withstands the effects of rain, snow, and other elements, preventing rust and ensuring long-lasting durability.

Installation

This water pump can be bolted down in multiple locations and positions. It can be installed above, below, or at the same level as the water tank, as long as the location is dry and easily accessible for maintenance. Mounting hardware is not included.

Flow Max 115V Strainer and Fittings

Once the pump is bolted down, insert the strainer on the inlet side. This strainer prevents bugs and debris from entering the pump. Then with the included swivel fittings, attach high-pressure hoses to the strainer and the outlet port for a tapered, watertight seal.

Finally, make your wire connections. The black wire is your live (or hotwire), the white wire is your neutral, and the green and yellow wire is your ground. Please note that a 15 amp switch and a 10 amp fuse (not included) are required.

See what our Experts say about this Lippert RV Water Pump

  • Is the Lippert 115v Flow Max RV Fresh Water Pump the Right Pump for a 2008 Winnebago 39Z
The Flow Max RV Fresh Water Pump # LC689054 is wired for an AC connection. If your current water pump is wired for AC then you would be good to go with this pump. If it is wired for a DC connection then you would have to rewire your set-up or go with a DC option like the Seaflo Diaphragm Pump # SE24FR. The more common set-up is DC. If you wanted to send me the make and model number of your current pump, I could check on whether you have an AC or DC pump currently.

  • Macerator System and Pump for RV Septic Tank
The SewerSolution Macerator System for RV Waste Tanks - Bayonet Fitting and 4-in-1 Adapter - 10' # SS01 should work well for your close to level application. The backflow preventer integrated is key to make sure your fresh water supply is not contaminated. RV systems are not intended to be dumped with hoses running upstream, so I am definitely hesitant to confirm this will work. It is intended to clean the system, not work as a pump to move the waste. If you need to pump the waste,...

  • What does Duty Cycle Mean on RV Water Pumps?
The duty cycle is simply the amount of time that the water pump will run and not run over the course of the day. Some water pumps operate continuously and therefore put a drain on your battery. For the Flow Max RV Fresh Water Pump # LC689054 it will run for 5 minutes and then rest for 10 minutes to help maintain water pressure in your RV.

  • 115 Volt AC V Fresh Water Pump to Replace Shurflo Water Pump
There is a 115v AC water pump you can use to replace your Shurflo, though your 2088-422-144 is actually has a flow of 2.8 gallons per minute and 10.6 liters per minute. The label isn't all that clear but if you look closely you can see it says "2.8 GPM / 10.6 LPM". So what you need is the Flow Max RV Fresh Water Pump - 115 Volt # LC689054. This is a 115v AC water pump that has a 3.3 gallons per minute flow so it will be an upgrade for you in that regard.

  • How Do RV Water Pumps Know When to Turn Off and On
RV water pumps like the Flow Max RV Fresh Water Pump # LC689054 are designed to pressurize water lines and once the pressure has been met they shut off. So this pump is set for 45 psi which means that any time you open a faucet and relieve the pressure the pump comes on and then once the faucet is closed and 45 psi has been reached the pump shuts off. Based on what you mentioned this would be what you are looking for.

  • How To Reduce Noise From Your RV Water Pump
Having worked with a good majority of the water pumps we currently carry they all are about the same noise level. Most of what you're really hearing is just the vibration of the water lines as the pump works. A really cheap fix is to cover them with some foam pipe insulation to help silence the vibration. You could also add a layer of rubber to space where you plan on mounting the Flow Max RV Fresh Water Pump # LC689054 to help dampen any vibration between it and the floor.
