Ellen : Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and we're going to be taking a quick look at the Valterra interior inline replacement water filter. This is going to keep a lot of harmful contaminants from getting into your water, it's going to filter it through an activated carbon filter that also has KDF material which will also inhibit a lot of bacterial growth, so you don't have to worry about things getting in there.It measures about 12 and a quarter inch long from end to end, but whenever it's actually threaded in place, it's about 10 inches long. So that's going to be the actual cartridge there that's 10 inches long overall. It does have a clearly marked inlet and outlet on either side so you know which way the water should be flowing. You always want to put this between flexible hoses, and you also want to flush it out well before use. It is rated for one gallon per minute of flow, that's the flow rate, one gallon per minute.

It also can handle pressures of 20 PSI up to 100 PSI, and it is rated for 500 gallons of use or six months of use. The diameter is about two inches, and it does have a micron rating of 20.So that's about it for our look at the replacement inline filter for your water system in your RV.
