Today we're going to review part number CAM39901. This is the Camco HTS Super Heavy Duty RV Sewer Hose with the built-in clamps. This is the box it will come in when you receive it. Basically what we're going to do . just open it up. I'm going to pull that out so you'd be able to see, put the box aside.
You can basically see. This is a sewer hose which will let you drain your RV's black water tank in a dump station. As you can see, the yellow pre-attached clamps on it will provide a simple secure hook up for all types of sewer hoses. This is the HTS design, which is a high tensile strength vinyl, which will minimize the risk of pinholes and leaks caused by everyday use and transport. It's 18 mils of UV stabilized vinyl, which will create a super heavy duty hose for your full-time RVer and it does stand up to all weather conditions, has a steel wire core, which will offer the strength of steel and the convenience of a collapsible storage hose.
This is a 15-foot long hose, which will compress to 34 inches for easy storage. It is a 3-inch diameter hose, as you can see right here. This will also fit all standard sewer hose fittings except the red EZ fittings. This is grey in color and has the yellow clamps. As you can see, it stems out and then compresses.

Works like a charm.
I've looked for a better quality hose that would last . I'm still looking. This one is more flexible, and somehow feels like a better quality, but it still developed leaks in the middle. I'm a full timer, and using and maintaining a sewer hose isn't rocket science, but I still get leaks.

Hose extends and retracted great. It dose not do so good in extreme weather. My hose lasted a year's worth of use. The heat and winds of the Nevada desert weather shredded the hose apart. This is a travel use only hose. Not to be used in a living environment situatio.
This sewer hose seems to be more robust than the previous ones i've bought in the last two months, all of which developed pinholes and major leaks within several days. This one has an inner and an outer layer which sandwich the wire core. One of the fittings slid right into place, the other was a bit more of a challenge. However- perseverance made it fit. I used a piece of 4" PVC sewer pipe as a sheath to protect the hose in it's traffic area - where the big dogs play. so far - it's working like a champ.

Product was exactly as I expected. However sending it by the post office and
it being left on the front walk wasn't a good idea. Your web site needs to allow for my UPS information to be keyed in and used. We are in an industrial area and the item could have easily disappeared off the walkway.

This is really difficult to fit over the existing fittings. I had to warm it up then stretch a while before forcing it on the end. No clamps needed for this fit (but I still installed one)
(It lost a star due to the fit up challenge)
