Sanitary tee connects a sewer system pipe to another pipe or outlet that moves waste out of your RV or motorhome. T-shaped fitting has (3) 3" hubs that slide onto pipes.

Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Valterra DWV sanitary tee. This unit is made from a durable ABS plastic construction. As you can see, the unit's gonna feature three connection points. All of them are gonna have the hub connections. This is for three inch piping. DWV stands for Drain Waste and Ventilation. It is IAPMO listed.
IAPMO stands for International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials. Each connection point's gonna measure the same, so outer diameter is gonna measure four inches, inner diameter is going to measure three and a half inches. This piece right here, edge to edge, is gonna give us a measurement of about seven and seven eighths of an inch long. That's gonna do it for today's look at the Valterra DWV sanitary tee.

There is nothing glamorous about buying 3" DWV fittings. But, etrailer made it easy with their great website and helpful videos. Was able to order all the fittings I needed to install a Sani-Con on my fifth wheel.
