Today we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra DWV adapter. This unit is made from a durable ABS plastic construction. DWV stands for drain waste and ventilation. This would get installed into your RV's 3 inch waste valve system. It simply adapts a threaded female pipe end to a standard pipe with a spigot end. This connection point right here is a hub connection. It's going to give us an internal diameter measurement of 3 and a half inches and then on this side you're going to have the threaded male end.
Internal diameter on this side, we're looking at about 3 inches external diameter from outer thread to outer thread is about 3 and a half inches. Internal 3 inches, external 3 and a half inches. Internal on this side is 3 and a half inches, external on this side is going to be about 4 inches. If we measure from this lip right here to the end of the unit, we're looking at about 1 and5/8 of an inch. Overall length it's going to be pretty close to 2 and 3/8 inches. That's going to do it for today's look at the Valterra DWV adapter..
