Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the LaSalle Bristol Clean Out Adapter for your RV sewer system. This is going to connect two of your sewer pipes to help move that waste out of your RV or motor home. It's got two different ends here. This is our hub end.
This is going to slide onto our sewer system pipe. You will need to adhere that. Make sure that there's a nice tight seal there. I would recommend using some ABS solvent cement. You can find some here at etrailer.com.
This is just about, I mean, almost exactly three inches in inner diameter, so it's going to work with those three-inch sewer pipes. Then our other end, we have a three-inch FPT thread, so this is going to thread onto your sewer system pipe and make sure that you can connect that.This is made of a very sturdy abs plastic construction, so you're not going to have to worry about it breaking down or anything. It is going to do a good job of making sure those pipes are connected. Again, I would recommend that ABS solvent cement just to make sure that there aren't any leaks or anything. Anytime you're working with piping, you want to make sure that you're preventing leaks, but especially with your sewer pipes, you obviously don't want any of that to leak out to cause some problems for you.
