Hi, Steven here with etrailer.com. Thank you for joining me as we look at our Camco Olympian 5500 stainless steel RV propane grill. Now I've got everything laid out here today as far as what you're gonna get when you open the box. You obviously got your instructions, a nice, quick connect propane hose. You got a couple different brackets here that come included depending on how you wanna mount it. It comes with a stand.
Now lemme get a closeup here for you. Now this propane grill will let you cook delicious meals right outside your RV, camper, whatever, and it's made of a high quality, very lightweight stainless steel construction. It's got a two-way mounting bracket included for versatile use. And like I said, you can mount to the side of your RV or use the mount stand that's included as well. Now it does come with a grease tray.
You can use, slide that all the way out and empty the grease. And if you take a look inside here, it's got a spring loaded latch there. Now, as you can see it's got a nice grill cooking surface, and under that surface you can, kind of, see in the reflection there that plastic wrap piece, I left that wrapped up because that is your smoker plate and it comes pre-grease, you know, so it doesn't get rust on it or anything like that. That smoker plate's gonna allow you to get full flavor while minimizing grease fires. You can put some wood chips on top of that thing and maybe give you a nice smoky flavor as well.
Now like I said, it is nice lightweight stainless steel. And overall height, I was getting 10 inches from the ground to the top here. And as far as the width overall I was getting about 11 and three eighths inches by 23 inches long. Now that length on the 23 inches was from here all the way over here by the on and off assembly here. Now you can use this with one pound, five pound, or 20 pound propane cylinders.
The grill surface itself that you're gonna be cooking on, I was getting in a usable measurement of about 10 and a quarter inches wide by 16 and a quarter inches long. It does come with a nice thermometer here on the front so you can see how hot it's getting it inside. And again, it comes with the stands, the propane hoses, everything you need to use it. This stainless steel, propane grill is designed for RV or outdoor use. Use the included 2-way mounting bracket as a stand or to mount to your RV. Can be used with a 1-lb, 5-lb, or 20-lb propane cylinder. Includes a quick-connect hose and valve.Great grill. We ordered the extra attachments to be able to use this at the park and to tailgate. I spent about fourty dollars on accesories to allow refilling of the 1lb canisters. We had our eyes on the 6500 but the iron heat sink sold me. The hot spots are almost non-existent and this grill gets HOT unlike the sidekick we are replacing. We can now quick connect to 20lb, 1lb, and to the low pressure RV quick connect.
Worked great when we had a camper. Works great on our boat. Works great on the patio. Would rather use this than most standard propane grills (for small grilling jobs. Heavy cast iron heat diffuser makes the difference. Great little grill.
We received the CAM7305 and are happy with it and it looks like it will be just the size that we need for when we are out on the road with our RV. When we unpacked it and checked it out we found that the latch is faulty and called Camco. They requested a picture sent to them and it stated that they would send us a new one.
Exterior carton beten up pretty good. Grill was not damaged. Have not had a chance to use it yet.

Excellent product and very quick service
Made very cheap. When we took it out of box it was bent in 2 places. Very disappointing to pay this much and not be pleased. Went ahead and mounted it but I will be looking for another one.
