Item was delivered promptly and arrived in new condition as described. The entire transaction was professional and timely. I will do business with etrailer again and would recommend to friends. The inner thread will solve some outer thread issues that seem to restrict propane flow on some bottles.

Recommended P.O.L. Cylinder Adapter for Camco Vertical Propane Regulator
The Soft Nose P.O.L. you need to make the Vertical Camco 2-Stage Regulator # CAM59313 just like the Camco Horizotal Regulator # CAM59333 is the JR Products # 37207-30085. The difference between the two, besides the soft nose P.O.L., is the # CAM59313 will be mounted vertically and the # CAM59333 horizontally to function properly. Troubleshooting Connection Between A 2-Stage Regular And 20lb Propane Tank
Typically most 2-stage regulators like the # CAM59323 will have a 1/4" NPT inlet connection which would allow you to connect a POL fitting like # 37207-30085 to connect to the inner threads of the 20lb tank. If this is what you have and you're still having issues with the threads not gripping it could be that the threads on either the tank or the fitting are stripped. The Camco Automatic Changeover 2-Stage Propane Regulator for Dual Propane Tanks # CAM59005 that you referenced has 1/4 inch inverted SAE flare fittings. For a 24 inch hose to fit that you would need the # CAM59153. In case your 3/4 inch line is actually a Soft-nose P.O.L. connection you could use the adapter # 37207-30085 with a # CAM59153 to go from the regulator to the feed line.
