Is There a Difference Between Camco and MB Sturgis Propane Quick Disconnect Kit

Question:

whats the difference between the Camco LP line quick disconnect fitting and the MB Sturgis for Also, I need an adapter this is going into my camping van from a 3/8inch female flair fitting on the end of my vans flexible line to one of the above QD units, AND an adapter to connect to my tank line. Can you supply these...sku # and price please. BTW, Ive viewed some youtube videos on installing these...usually RV owners use these to access the internal propane system of the RV with the female end mounted hard to the RV with the propane flow moving OUT of the RV to an add-on appliance. Im running the propane from an external LP bottle INTO the van to a Wave 3000 btu furnace. So, I assume I hard-mount the male end INSIDE my vans access hatch with the female QD end attached to the end of my propane tanks line? Is this correct or should I reverse that?

There really isn't a significant difference between the MB Sturgis Quick Disconnect Kit part # 104052-401132 and the Camco # CAM59853 as they both perform the same function.

We do have the MB Sturgis Quick Disconnect Propane Adapter part # 401132-MBS which has a male 1/4" NPT model 250 quick-disconnect fitting but you would need to use an adapter to convert the male 1/4" NPT to a male 3/8" inverted flare which we do not have.

I'd recommend having the female end on the propane accessory and the male side on a flexible line that would be attached to the matching fitting.
