Can Check Valve of Propane Quick Connect Clog
Question:
Since you indicated the following in another answer: ...Camco part # CAM59853 has a check valve which cuts off the gas when disconnected.., I was wondering if it is common for this check valve to stick or fail causing no propane to get through even when male end is connected? Are they repairable or do you simply replace it? We have one on our 5th wheel trailer. One week it was working - BBQ was getting propane and working fine next week it didnt work at all. All other propane appliances are working in 5th wheel.

It's not super common for check valves in propane quick-connect systems to fail but it certainly is something that's possible. Your best option would be to replace yours with the part # CAM59853 then.
