Speaker 1: Today we're gonna take a look at the Camco Single Stage Low Pressure Propane Regulator. Now this propane regulator will maintain a constant gas pressure from your free standing propane cylinder. It is designed for use with grills and other small low pressure gas appliances. This will maintain a constant 11 inch water column propane pressure and it is rated for 200,000 BTU an hour at 100 PSI inlet pressure. The inlet, right here up at the top, has a quarter inch female NPT connector, the outlet at the bottom here has a 3/8th inch female NPT connector. Looks like it will work. Unfortunately it was slow getting here and winter has returned and I won’t install it until I have good weather again. So no rating for now.

Called with a problem, they listened and found a solution, i bought it, they shipped it and 3 days later my issue was no longer. What a great customer service and tech support they have here.

I always have excellent experiences with etrailer.
Great products and honestly the best customer service. Thats the most important thing for me when ordering on line. Ive bought many things over the years and etrailer is fast and sends a follow up email to make sure i got my order and am happy with it. When i have called i always have talked to a real person. Once i received a damaged package and etrailer immediately sent a new part and a paid return label, no questions asked. Im totally impressed with this company.

Regulator replaced Marshall model 170 for Weber Performer propane grill. Fit and works perfectly. Time will tell how long a durable. Excellent customer service and delivery by etrailer.

After purchase I have read that single stage regulators, like the above are considered not to be legal for RV. Since I seldom use gas for anything. I have it only for emergency use and as such have never used it. I did test for leaks when I installed it.

A single stage propane regulator like this one is designed for use with a portable grill or other small, low pressure propane appliance. When looking for a regulator for the propane system on your trailer or RV, a two-stage regulator is required in order to provide the correct pressure to the larger appliances inside your trailer or RV. I have linked a help article with some more information about trailer and RV propane systems that will help illustrate the breakdown of these systems.

I installed it this weekend on my gas stove in my cabin and it works real well

by:

There was three parts ordered they were what I had ordered and they went together very easily and work. The order was on time.

by:

I ordered this because it said it was rated for 200000 BTU. Because I am going to put it running a 18HP. engine. Which is supposed to need 180000 BTU. When I recieved it itis the exact same brand and model number as one I already had that is rated 125000 BTU. But I haven't tried it yet to see if it will do the job.

by:

Works great on the 100lb tank system.

  • Troubleshooting Connection Between A 2-Stage Regular And 20lb Propane Tank
Typically most 2-stage regulators like the # CAM59323 will have a 1/4" NPT inlet connection which would allow you to connect a POL fitting like # 37207-30085 to connect to the inner threads of the 20lb tank. If this is what you have and you're still having issues with the threads not gripping it could be that the threads on either the tank or the fitting are stripped. You can combat this by taking off the POL fitting and using a type-1 fitting like the # CAM59923 which will thread into...

You'll need to check your specific model as certain models have a regulator on the heater already and you wouldn't want to double regulate the propane. If you model does not have a regulator then you can use a single stage low pressure regulator like the Camco Single Stage Propane Regulator - 200,000 Btu/Hr # CAM59013.

  • Propane Hose For Camco Single Stage Propane Regulator
Assuming the regulator is being connected to a propane tank with a Type 1 fitting, you'll need a propane hose with a 1/4" MPT connector to connect to the inlet of the Camco Single Stage Propane Regulator # CAM59013. That will depend on the length you need, and you can use either the 20 inch MB Sturgis Propane Hose # 100473-20-MBS or 36 inch MB Sturgis Propane Hose # 100473-36-MBS.

  • What is the Difference Among Single Stage Regulators for RVs and Trailers
The important thing to look at in a regulator is the water column pressure rating or W.C. because that is how you will see propane accessories rated. Propane appliances in RVs and trailers run off of low pressure and pretty much all regulators, including # CAM59013, will reduce the pressure to an 11 inch water column rating. A single stage regulator does it all in one stage. On a dual stage regulator the pressure is reduced twice but still down to an 11 inch W.C. If you need to replace...

For the regulator you will need the Camco Single Stage Propane Regulator # CAM59013. Then for the 100473 hose you can choose the one you need based on the length: - 12 inches: MB Sturgis Propane Hose - RV Type 1 with Back Check x 1/4" MPT # 100473-12 - 15 inches: MB Sturgis Propane Hose - RV Type 1 with Back Check x 1/4" MPT # 100473-15-MBS -...

  • Propane Regulator to Work with Norcold 2.7 cu/ft Refrigerator
I did a little bit of research and it looks like as long as you have a regulator that maintains 11" wc propane pressure, you'll be able to use it as a replacement for the regulator on your Norcold 2.7 cu/ft refrigerator. I recommend using the Camco Single Stage # CAM59013 which will maintain 11" wc pressure and is rated for up to 200,000 btu/hr.

  • Can Existing Propane Gas Regulator Be Used for 20,000 BTU Ventless Heater
The gas appliance itself (your heater in this case) will determine what regulator is necessary. The instructions included with the heater should list an “inlet pressure” required for minimal performance. It’s either listed as W.C. (Water Column 7-14) or P.S.I. If the existing regulator is properly rated for your heater, you'll have no problems using it.

  • Correct Propane Pigtail to Connect Camco Single Stage Regulator to 20 lb Propane Tank
We do! To connect the Camco Single Stage Propane Regulator # CAM59013 to a 20 lb propane tank you will need the MB Sturgis Propane Hose w/ Back Check # 100473-20-MBS and you need to make sure that you use a sealant like part # 37207-30025 to avoid gas leaking out of that connection. I don't know what type of connection you have on your Sears dryer but the outlet side of this regulator is a 3/8" female NPT connector if that helps. • Replacement Propane Parts For 2016 Jayco Trailer
It sounds like the check valve on your regulator has come apart. Those are necessary for the operation of the propane system so you will need a new regulator. You may not have a leak on the hose and find out that the regulator was the culprit all along, but it is always safer to replace the hose as well. If the # 100473-20-MBS has the correct fittings, you may need a single stage regulator like part # CAM59013. This regulator has a 1/4-inch NPT inlet and a 3/8 inch NPT outlet connector...

  • Could Camco Single Stage Propane Regulator be Used on Mobile Home Propane Appliances
As long as your propane appliances are designed for low pressure propane like what the Camco Single Stage Propane Regulator # CAM59013 is designed for this would be a great solution. Low pressure propane is rated at 11 inches of water column so you'd want to check the appliances you have near the supply inlets and you should see the propane requirements. I'd be surprised if they weren't also designed for low pressure propane.

  • The Difference Between A Single-Stage And Dual-Stage RV Propane Regulator
Both single-stage # CAM59013 and dual-stage # 108221 regulators will both reduce pressure down to 11" WC, but the difference is the stability of the output pressure. The single-stage regulators quickly reduce the pressure down and give you a bit less stable of an output, whereas the dual-stage regulators will provide a much more steady flow. I typically recommend dual-stage regulators for this reason. There are 3-styles that we currently offer, vertical # 108220, horizontal # 108221,...

  • Is it Better to Use a Single-Stage or a Two-Stage Regulator for Your Appliances
Though your heater unit has a built-in regulator, it is only capable of handling a very narrow flow rate range. For this reason, it's best to not consider an appliance's built-regulator as a replacement for the second stage for a two-stage regulator. I recommend going with a two-stage regulator as they are going to ensure that the flow rate going to your appliances is a constant 11" water column pressure. The regulator that you referenced, part # CAM59013, is a single-stage and best used...
