Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna take a look at this God, Guns & Guts two inch trailer hitch receiver cover. Now, the cover features a classic Colt revolver with the phrase, "God, Guns & Guts Made America Free!" And this oval face is covered in a protective marine vinyl, and this is of a durable ABS plastic construction, so it is very sturdy and durable, and it's gonna last quite a long time on the back of your vehicle in your trailer hitch receiver. Now, as you can see here, a removable hitch clip is included, and if you would prefer to purchase a hitch lock separately, this clip can be easily removed and replaced with a hitch lock if you so desire. Now, I do happen to have an example of a two inch hitch here, and let me line that up here for you, and so, I just wanted to give you a demonstration of how you can insert this in. Best way is just to push in on both sides of this cover, pushing that clip, and then it'll secure it in place. And again, this doesn't lock it, someone can still come by and take it off, but it does secure it in there, so that is going to hold on and it's not going to accidentally come out of your trailer hitch receiver.
Just some overall measurements while we're here. The overall width, we're sitting right at about six inches across, and then the height, we're sitting right at, line that up here, about 3 1/2 inches tall overall. And again, to remove this, probably the best way to remove this is just to put a finger on either side and then just kind of work it out, and then that'll become disconnected from the hitch pin hole, and then that can be easily removed. One day during the winter I happened to notice there was a black oval stuck in my trailer hitch. Took me awhile to remember I used to have a cute sign there. Some where along the line it must of fell off.
I enjoyed it during the summer and fall anyway!

The hole did not align with my hitch. Didn’t go in far enough. A little drill bit modification and fit perfect.
looks great now. Not sure how long the decal will last in the Florida sun and heat.
Background is dark and so much print makes for small print.

Looks great on my car. Made of pretty cheap plastic but it was inexpensive. The only thing I don’t like is the latches to hold it in the hitch are too far back, so I can’t actually use them. If I used the hitch cover, so the latches fit with the holes, the hitch cover would be poking out a couple of inches.

Another great product from etrailer. Super communication from the staff! The receiver cover fits perfectly and has a removable hitch clip if you want to remove it and install a lock. I only recommend getting the Avalanche logo because, no matter the Avs record or where they are in the standings, they really are the best team in the NHL. :)

Looks great! I just hope it lasts as it’s a decal stuck on a plastic mount. I know it wasn’t super expensive, but I think I’d prefer it to be something more durable. We’ll see how it goes.
