Today we're going to be taking a look at the Buck Emblem 2" Hitch Cover from AMG. This hitch cover is going to allow you to express your passion for wildlife and the outdoors, add a clean, finished look to your vehicle and keep dirt and grime out of your hitch. The hitch cover is going to be made from a steel construction. It's going to feature a really nice black powder coat finish which is going to offer great rust and corrosion protection. Here on the front face we're going to have the chrome-plated, metal emblem sitting on a black background. It has a matte finish right behind the emblem. It's going to feature a rust-proof and fade-proof design.
It is American made. On the back side we're going to have a foam gasket. This is going to help reduce rattle in between the hitch and the hitch cover. This does require a hitch pin and clip or a hitch pin and lock for installation to secure it to your hitch. Those items are sold separately. If you need one you can find them right here at etrailer.com.
The pin hole on this hitch cover will accept a standard 5/8" diameter pin. A few measurements to go over with you real quick, starting with the hitch cover face. The overall width is going to be about 5". Overall height is about 3-1/2". The distance that we have from the back of that foam pad to the center of the hitch pin hole is about 2-1/2". Again, this is designed for 2" by 2" trailer hitches. A very simple installation.
Take this piece, slide into your hitch, line up your pin holes and secure it with a hitch pin and clip or a hitch pin and lock. That's going to do it for today's look at the Buck Emblem 2" Hitch Cover from AMG.

Ordered it for my new Chevy Silverado which is all black. The hitch cover looks great and is well made. The gasket that comes with it is well made and prevents the metal on metal noise. Would recommend this product.

From the back of the face plate to the center of the hitch pin hole it measures 2-3/4 inches. This should work well on your 2014 Ram 1500.
