Perfect for winches, spare tire carriers and more.I chose this hitch over the Curt simply due to cost. Shipping was very fast. Installation requires 2 people. I had the luxury of a lift and I'm not sure if I would've been able to do the install without it. There are only 4 bolts and was done in about 30 minutes just as the instructions claim. I held it up in place temporarily and then just marked the air dam with a pencil then cut the notch. No removal of the air dam is necessary. I love the fact that it is so hidden under the license plate holder. And the air dam in front hides the rest. Nice product !
After ordering, shipped out the same day. Arrived two days later. Box was beat up upon arrival, but that was due to shipping not e-trailers fault. 5 stars arrived in two days with all relevant hardware and instructions. Great company to do business with.
Very easy installation even for one person. Cut hole in front dam. Then just gradually block up alternating sides until it’s in place for bolts. Obviously easier and quicker with 2 people. Works great with all hitch configurations that I have
Installation was simple, with the included fishing wires to guide and pull the bolts through the hitch and frame rails. I did spray paint the hitch with rubberized undercoating because it is more exposed to the elements on my truck with the air dam removed. The whole reason for this assembly was to mount a plow to my '16 Chevy Colorado and it works perfectly.
This is a well built hitch with perfect fit to my Chevy Colorado. The first thing I did was coat it with rubberized bed liner. I cut a piece of cardboard the correct size to give me a template to cut the front air dam. After clamping it to the center I drilled small holes at the top corners and low on the sides. I clamped a steel ruler (lined up with the holes I drilled) to the air dam to use as a guide for the cutting blade. The pull through wire set up for the bolts worked great. I have a friend who has a lift so my installation was very easy. I highly recommend using a lift for this project. If you don’t have access to one cut out the air dam yourself and take it to a shop. I have had front hitches on my trucks for over 20 years now and they are wonderful for launching boats and moving trailers into tight spots.
After purchasing our 2018 Chevy Colorado, I was in need of a front hitch receiver for hauling our canoe. I thought that Curt was the only manufacturer but was told that they were on back order. I located the Draw-Tite on etrailer and was very glad that I did. etrailer was great to deal with! They kept me informed (via email) on the shipping and included a link for tracking my package. It arrived within a week of ordering (actually a day earlier than estimated) and installation went without a hitch (sorry:)

Great value. Perfect fit onto frame and helpful instructions. I'm glad I chose to put my truck on a lift at an auto hobby shop; made one- man installation easy. The cherry on top would be if draw-tite included a hitch receiver cap, but I just picked one up at the store.
Great fit. Installed in 30min by myself. My 2015 GMC Canyon has a 5.5in BDS suspension lift with a Zone 1.5in body lift and there were zero issues. I had scraped my air dam 5 years ago so that saved me time for and wasn't in my way either. I just used a floor Jack to raise and hold the hitch where it needed to be and fished the bolts through the frame and done deal.
It is more noticeable than I thought it would be but I'm sure it's much more hidden with the air dam on and at stock height. Also fast shipping, received it in 2 days.

Before and after great support. Since I am NOT a mechanic I needed help. I ordered it without hesitation. I probably could have installed it myself but I decided to take it my Chevy dealer in Carmi, Illinois (Rice Motors). They had NO problems installing with the included (and online) detailed instruction, with pictures! Took 1 hour and $75 later I am very, very satisfied with this product. Actual price very fair and it is first rate quality construction. Now I am ready to mount my snow blade!
I had trouble installing it so I took to a welder trailer builder to help me.
He noticed one side was bent out and that is why I had trouble siding it in place.
He took a rubber mallet to it and between the two of us we installed it.
It works great and make parking my boat in a tough spot much easier.

Still working great, no problems, making it easier to put a trailer in a tough spot.
It just arrived. Luckily it is robust as the box was in pieces.... Everything looks perfect and will do the install soon. It is what it is... a hitch... and as far as I can tell a fine one. The delivery was fast, the price very reasonable. Can't ask for more than that.

Works just right. It is handy to move trailers around the property using a front hitch. We use it as well for a front mounted bicycle carrier which leaves rear open for using camper door. Great product.
So far so good. Install was straight forward. Instead of cutting the air dam I just removed it. I think the truck looks better without it. Def helps to have a friend with you too.

Product arrived undamaged and fit exactly. The packaging did not survive the trip. I do not know if the packaging was insufficient or if UPS handling is too violent. The hitch installed easily, but I had access to a lift. Installation would have been much more difficult without the lift.

Great! This receiver allows me to maneuver trailers in tight spaces as the pivot point is on the front of the truck not far from the steering. Quick turning response.
Receiver is a perfect fit for my vehicle. However it shifted in the box broke through the cardboard and suffered paint scraping to raw metal on two sides. Maybe adding dunnage to inside of box would help.

Hitch working great for my snow plow. I added plug for when I am not plowing.
The paint quality on a receiver is always a concern. They always seem to rust almost immediately. This one is still in great shape. I’m very happy with it.

Great. This has been the perfect addition to my truck. I added it so I could mount a winch carrier for occasional use but have since also used it for a bike carrier and for parking a trailer in a tight spot that I couldn’t have done in the traditional way.
I recently ordered a front trailer hitch for my new Chevy Colorado. I could not be happier. The product arrived as expected, and the installation instructions were done quite nicely. The new hitch was installed without a "hitch" (pun intended. I would recommend this item to anyone that is in need of a front receiver hitch.
I have used this front mount hitch on several trips carrying two bicycles on the front of my RV, my last trip was over 5000 miles it worked great. The installation requires some mechanical ability but the instructions were decent.

I have always been very happy with my purchases from e trailer. This time it was a little different. The hitch arrived with several chips in the powder coating or paint. I will keep ordering from them in the future I just hope the packaging that something is shipped in will be a little better when spending that much on something

After one year of owning this, I can say that it is performing as expected. Typical, minimal surface rust has formed on the inside of the receiver. Every receiver I have ever owned has experienced this. The outer surfaces are still shiny and look new. Most people dont really notice its installed.Great product, and highly recommended.
