Comparing Draw-Tite 65071 and Curt C31074 Front-Mount Hitches for 2017 Chevy Colorado Diesel

You have a draw tite and Curt front mount hitch for my 2017 Chevy Colorado Diesel with front air dam. Do you know if one better than the other for my truck. thx.

Both the Draw-Tite # 65071 and the Curt # C31074 front-mount hitches that fit your 2017 Chevy Colorado diesel will install in the same way, without drilling, but both will probably need you to trim the front dam. The two hitches share identical weight capacities too. Install instructions for both hitches are included for your reference.

The main noteworthy difference between the two hitches is that the Curt is USA-made and the Draw-Tite is made in Mexico.

Front-mount hitches make it a lot easier to maneuver a trailer into tight spaces and they also allow easy installation of hitch-mount snow plows like # K2AVAL8219 and cargo carriers like # C18151.
