Recommended Front Hitch and Snow Plow for 2018 Chevrolet Colorado
Question:
Hi, I have a 2018 Chevy Colorado V6 which has same equipment as when purchased. Looking for a snow plow setup for it will need a front receiver and the plow. Am considering something like the SNOWSPORT® LT UTILITY PLOWinch which has no wiring or hydraulics. This would be used to plow my gravel driveway which is approx 100 yards long. I have had great experience over the years with etrailer, wanted to check to see if you have a similar type of offering that wont break the bank am retired and on fixed income. Would greatly appreciate any input from your experts. Thanks in advance.

For a front hitch on your 2018 Chevy Colorado I recommend the Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 65071. This has a 2" receiver with a line pull of 9,000 lbs, vertical load limit of 500 lbs, and gross trailer weight of 5,000 lbs. It features a bolt-on installation and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
For a budget friendly snow plow I recommend the Detail K2 Snowplow for 2" Hitches - 82" Wide x 19" Tall # K2AVAL8219. This lets you clear paved and gravel parking lots and driveways with your vehicle. It uses an electric winch to raise and lower the plow which can be done from the cab of your truck. It also has an adjustable 3-position blade that can be manually angled left, right, and straight ahead.
I have attached an installation video for your reference.
