Have used it a few times last fall to carry a cooler and fishing rod cart on the beach. So far have not had to use as a recovery to get pulled out of sand or pull another vehicle with the tow strap loop attachment that I bought as an additional accessory. The top mount on the bumper was ideal since gives more clearance than below bumper mount when in the sand. Keeps the cart up high. The paint on the hitch is very nice.
The item was packaged poorly causing me to have to touch up prior to installation. Large box with no stuffing causing the item to rattle around. Probably got scratched on staples in the center of the box that served no purpose. The installation instruction were unclear and contained errors. There we multiple washers and you had to guess as to where to use them. Instructions showed bolts installed where there on holes

I have always had great service with etrailer in the past and the service was still great with this receiver however I rated it only 3 stars because of damaged paint on the product. Spoke with Josh in customer service and he credited $[XX] for a can of spray paint that I accepted rather than hassle with a return.
I like product because of easy mounting. I plan to use it with a light weight snow plow. The price was very reasonable. I would definetely use etrailer again. Tank you.

i bought one also. havent installed yet. now i read that it wont work for plows because it is too high. what did you do to make it work?
Perfect fit and easy Install, just had to trim plastic shield a little.
Excellent product. With a little thought you can do wonders with this front hitch mount. Everyone loves it cause the winch can be removed and only tugged around when you find a deep mud hole to get stuck in.
eTrailers shipped it fast and had it for the right price for someone on a retired budget. Will buy from you when I need other products of toys for my off roading pleasure.

Still in great shape use for Spring thru Fall fishing season only. Relocated the license plate to the side to avoid obstructed view or ticket. I will get a hitch mount bike rack soon. This would not block access to rear door and storage if bike hitch was mounted on rear hitch.
