Dimensions of Curt Front Mount Hitch Receiver Part # 31408
Question:
What is the distance from the center-to-center of the bolt holes side-to-side for the subject hitch? What is the distance from inside of the left mounting plate to inside of the right mounting plate i.e. distance between the sides of the mounting plates? Thanks

I went out the warehouse and took the measurements you asked about on the Curt Front Mount Hitch, part # 31408. I've attached a diagram showing them.
The inside distance between the mounting plates is about 27-1/2 inches.
Between the 2 sets of bolt holes towards the rear of the hitch (The end that would be facing the rear of the Jeep) are both about 30-7/8 inches center to center. The slotted holes are different sizes but they're basically in line with each other. The third set of holes that are closest to the front of the vehicle is about 30-11/16 inches apart.
You only need to use one of the two sets of holes that are towards the front of the Jeep. The most forward set are for YJ models (Between model years 1987 to 1995) and the middle set are for TJ models (Between model years 1997 to 2006).
