Secure, Two-Piece Jaw

Q24 Two-Piece Jaw

Unlike slide-bar models, the rounded, two-piece jaw on this fifth-wheel trailer hitch inhibits rattle and movement by securely wrapping around your trailer's king pin, resulting in easier hookup and a safer, quieter ride.

Three-Point Indicator System

Get peace of mind with Curt's color-coded lock indicator. Just look at the indicator - either the one on the handle or the one on the hitch itself - to determine whether the jaw is in the correct position to uncouple (red), couple (yellow) or tow (green).

Q24 Color Indicator System

360-Degree Pivot

Curt's unique spherical axial bearing provides a durable pivot point that allows easy, 360-degree movement of the hitch head. This ball joint is designed for smooth, quiet operation with less clunking and chucking.

I have ran a cheap competitor hitch for several years.
A manufacturing defect (welded pivot pin) caused the hitch to fail and resulted in 18000$ damage to my truck and trailer.
I chose the Curt 25000# hitch after much research and found it to be very well made and clearly shows when it is properly coupled. It is quiet and operates with minimal klunking and chunking going down the road.
Overall I am very pleased.

My hitch is still flawless and looks new. After a year and at least 30 trips, I have no complaints and would still highly recommend the Curt 2500# hitch

by:

It is always great to have a store where you know you are getting the best price & highest quality products. Our Curt 25000 lb hitch showed up quickly & the instructions were easy to follow. We have been enjoying several trips without any issues with noises, binding or unexpected loose & sloppy hitch engagement. It is nice to have a strong, clean and simple hitch that provides security in towing our 45’ toyhauler. Thanks for a wonderful product & experience.

by:

Mounted this hitch on my flatbed 3500 Ram and the hitch works flawlessly. Pull 44' tri-axle weighing in at 23,000# with ease. Very easy to use and understand, very easy to maintain.

The hitch is still working flawlessly and have pulled numerous trailers with it. Would purchase another

At this point I am only able to rate the purchase process, shipping process, and installation process. All three were excellent. A few comments: I took the advise of the etrailer associate that helped me in the purchase process. The shipping worked out OK. Freight company had the item on a pallet in 2 boxes. We were able to remove the 2 boxes and slide them out of the back of the truck in a manner I could move them in the rear of our side by side. ( A wheel barrow would have worked fine too.). Assembly was a basic follow the good instructions process. The items were a bit heavy for one person (at 70 years old). It sure appears to be a good design and heavy duty. I expect the important towing function will be very satisfactory. If not, I will so report later.

Eddie S.

11/8/2022

After a year of using the hitch for several trips including an 5200 mile extended trip, I find the hitch to be satisfactory and functional. After learning by experience a few little quirks of using the hitch, I am able to engage and disengage the mechanism a bit faster and smoother. My main disappointment was discovering by observation and discussion with other 5th wheelers there are hitches available that do attach to the goose neck hitch. I do wish the associate that helped me in the shopping process presented this option. summary: The hitch is a good one, I simply did not know what I did not know about the hitches available for my application.

Hitch Works Great. etrailer handled shipping issue very good. Happy with my purchase

Not one problem, like I said FLAWLESS

by:

I bought this to pull a 35' 5th wheel travel trailer. It works great. I don't even know it's behind me. I would recommend this product.

by:

It reduced chucking and took the play out when hooked-up. It is however much more fussy about accuracy when hooking up. But as long as you use reasonable care when hooking up it is a substantial improvement over the single jaw.

by:

At time I have a difficult time to get the latch to lock or unlock.

by:

Very functional design with its color indicator for engagement status, very HEAVY duty, couldn’t be happier with this this 5th wheel hitch. Good value.

by:

Excellent Fifth Wheel hitch. Easy to use and handles the RV well. Very sturdy and handled the high winds we came through in Kansas.

by:

Very good highly recommend it but wish u guys offered a 30k fifth wheel set up as well but other than that it works great

by:

Amazing hitch! Very solid built hitch and easy to install. I love the 360 degree tilt which make it really nice when towing

by:

Hitch works really good and customer support was awesome

by:

Love it. Very easy to use.

  • Could Curt Q25 Fifth Wheel Hitch Fit 2003 Ford F-250 for Car Hauler Towing
As far as fifth wheel hitches go the Curt Q25 # C16265 does have a higher capacity at 25,000 lbs which would be a great option. But you'd have to consider the weight of the trailer you plan to tow plus the weight of the cars as well. This is just the hitch though. You will need to install a rail kit in the bed of your 2003 Ford F-250 as well so that the hitch has something to attach to. For that you would want the # C16443-204 which has been confirmed as a fit for your truck and would...

Yes, a Curt Q25 fifth wheel hitch # C16265 will fit directly into the same fifth wheel rails your Reese 16k hitch fit. Both of these hitches were designed to fit the same industry standard fifth wheel rails as what you have. You may also be interested in the Curt A25 part # C16180 instead. This is the upgraded version of the Q25 which has a nicer jaw design that provides a more solid connection to the king pin. • Option for Raising Nose of Momentum 3975 Wheel Trailer Towed by 2019 Ford F-350
4 inches of clearance between the bed rails of your truck and the overhang of the 2020 Momentum 397 is the very minimum amount of clearance most refer to as safe. So strictly in that regard you aren't in a terrible position. That said, 6 inches is a much more ideal amount of clearance to have and it looks like your trailer might be a little nose low so it could stand to be raised in the front. Since pin box replacements aren't really designed for offering varying height setting you'd...

The Curt Q25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package part # C16049 comes with everything that you need to install on a 2017 Ram 3500 assuming you have the factory in-bed puck system (see photo). According to Curt the A25 hitch # C16180 is a rebranded Q25 with a head that is made of stronger material. The A25 is the newer version. The changes made to the head address some issues with head failure associated with the Q25. The Q25 was a beefier version of the Q24.

  • Will Curt Q Series 5th Wheel Hitches Work with a MORryde Pin Box
It looks like you're asking if the Curt Q series fifth wheel hitches are compatible with your MORryde pin box. Yes, hitches like the Curt Q25 # C16265 will work with a MORryde. This is the 25,000 pound hitch that fits into industry standard rails. If you can tell me the year, make, model, and bed length of your truck I can help you find the correct hitch and install kit that fits.
