Can Curt 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch be Used with Reese Elite Under Bed Rail Kit
Question:
Can I use a curt q25 or q25 with the reese under bed rail puck kit. Or will the underbed only work with the elite system by reese. I have a 2019 Chevy 3500hd without the factory prep kit although I was told by the dealer it was there and all ready for the q25.

Fifth-wheel hitches that use above-bed, industry-standard base rails like the excellent Curt Q25 # C16265 that you referenced can be used with the Reese Elite Under-Bed Rails # RP30868 but only by way of the Reese Rail Adapter # RP30156.
The adapter mounts to the Reese Elite Pucks to provide industry-standard rails that are compatible with most hitches, including the Curt Q25. An important thing to keep in mind though is that the adapter features a maximum weight capacity of 20,000 pounds so you would need to follow this limit even if the hitch is rated for a higher capacity.
The Reese Elite 5th Wheel Hitches are the only models available that will mount directly to the Reese Elite Pucks without the use of an adapter.
Since using the adapter would reduce the weight capacity of the Curt Q25 # C16265 your best option for a rail kit for your 2019 Chevy Silverado 3500 without the factory prep kit is with the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit # C16411-204. This kit will provide you with above-bed industry-standard base rails and the included custom brackets eliminate the need for any frame drilling. The rails will allow you to use the Q25 at its full 25,000 pound towing weight capacity.
