For your 2017 Raptor 412TH, either hitch will work well with your trailer. The differences are if you want to also have a clean bed and if a gooseneck hitch is also desired.
I recommend the Curt Q25 5th wheel hitch # C16265 if you desire the above bed 5th wheel rails. This hitch is a very nice and clean looking hitch with some cool components like the 3 point indicator system, a 2 pin head removal system, and 4 inch adjustability. It has a self-aligning head for easy hook-up and a unique bearing system that allows for 360 degree head movement. This hitch requires above bed rails, and for those rails, I recommend the Curt Custom 5th Wheel Installation Kit for Ford - Carbide Finish # C16424-204 which has custom fit frame brackets for your truck.
The Companion is also a really well made hitch that utilizes an underbed gooseneck hitch for the base. This Custom Underbed Installation Kit for B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # BWGNRK1111-5W is one of the best gooseneck hitches on the market. It offers a clean bed when not in use and serves as a solid base for the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs # BWRVK3500-5W. This hitch is height adjustable 2 inches with 3 settings. It also has the ability to move 4 inches from the front to the back as desired. It also has the ability to remove the head with just 2 pins.
In my opinion, the decision is really in the bed rail system and your preference there. If you want a gooseneck and clean bed, then the Companion is the route to go. If you want just a 5th wheel hitch, then the Curt option is better for just that application.
