Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the six-LED surface mount strobe light with the clear lens, and the amber and clear LEDs. Now this strobe light is installed in aluminum housing, and it's rated IP67 for water and dust resistance. Common use for this light is pickup trucks, work trucks, or trailers. It's a nice black aluminum base with the clear lens, and the three amber and the three clear LEDs.The LEDs do make great replacements for incandescent lights because they'll last 50 times longer, and they're more efficient because they provide brighter light with less power output. And of course, no bulbs to replace, no brittle filaments. This light will offer 19 flash patterns, and the simultaneous or alternating function.The wiring on this, if you see, it's a blunt cut wiring connection.

Wire length is about 8". There's three different wires, you have a black wire for ground, and a red wire for power, and then the yellow wire is for synchronization and alternating flash. At the end of this video I'm going to hook this up to power to show you the light, so we'll talk about those connections a little better then.This is a surface mount light. Does come with this foam gasket and mounting screws for a nice, simple installation. Now they will also offer an optional grommet and 90-degree mounting bracket which is sold separate on our website.

They're listed at the bottom of this product page as a related product. I happen to pull both of those just to show you what they look like. Here's the grommet, if you want a grommet installation. And here is the 90-degree mounting bracket for that installation. As I mentioned, both of those are listed at the bottom of the product page.This light has six LEDs.

Voltage is 12 to 24 volts. Amperage is 1.1 amps at 12 volts. Last thing I want to do is give you dimensions on this, and then we'll hook it up. The width edge to edge, right at 5". The height on it, is going to be right at 1-1/8" tall.

And the depth on it is only 3/4" deep.What we're going to do is we'll hook the black wire up, which is your ground, and then we'll hook our red power wire up. And I'm going to be turning on like that. What I'm going to do is after I get it turned on and the light will be working and flashing, this yellow wire, you can change your flash pattern since it offers 19 different flash patterns. I'll just touch the power wire each, it'll reset to a different flash pattern. And that yellow wire is also used. If you have multiple lights like this on a trailer or a truck and you want them all to flash at the same time in synchronization, that yellow wire, you connect all those on each light to each other so they all sync together.We'll go ahead right now and turn the power on. With the power on, you can see the three different clear and amber LEDs and the flash pattern. I'll go ahead and turn off the overhead lights, very bright for only six LEDs. What I'm going to do now is take that yellow wire and touch it, and you can see since I touched it, it's a different flash pattern now. Touch it again, there's another different one. And just one more time to show you. So again, each time you touch it, it'll change the pattern. I'll turn back on our overhead lights, and disconnect power.That should do it for the review on the six-LED surface mount strobe light, with the clear lens and the amber and clear LEDs.
