Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the four LED surface mount strobe light with the clear lens and the amber and clear LEDs. Now this strobe light's installed in an aluminum housing. It's rated IP67 for water and dust resistance. Common use for this light is on pickup trucks, work trucks, or trailers. It's a black aluminum base. Has a clear lens.

Has two amber and two clear LEDs. Does include this black plastic flange and this rubber mounting gasket for installation with the hardware.Now this light is LED. The LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights, because they'll last 50 times longer. And they're more efficient, because they'll provide brighter light with less power output. And of course no bulbs to replace or no brittle filaments.

This light does offer 19 flash patterns and simultaneous or alternating functions. The connections are these blunt cut wiring connections. There's four wires. The wire length is 6".Black wire is your ground wire. Red wire is your power wire.

The yellow is used for synchronization and flash patterns. And the white is for simultaneous or alternating flash. Now I am going to at the end of this video, we're going to hook this up to some 12V power to see what the lights . how bright they are and the flash patterns. And I'll describe the wires more then.This is a surface mount design.

As I mentioned, it includes the flange, plastic flange that goes over it. The rubber gasket that it'll sit on. Let me go ahead and run the wires through there. And then you can see it and you just install it with the mounting screws to wherever you need be.Now they do also offer an optional 90 degree aluminum mounting bracket, which we do sell separately on our website. It's listed on this product page as a related product. I happened to pull it just to give you an idea what it looks like, but this is a 90 degree aluminum bracket that you can attach the light to, mount it into whatever position. It's far vertical mounting, so whichever position works best for you.Now this is four LEDs. The voltage is 12V to 24V. Amperage is one amp at 12V. A few dimensions on this. Overall length is going to be right at 4-7/8" long. The height on it is going to be right at 1-5/8" tall. And the total depth of the light is going to be right at 1-3/8" deep. Now what I'm going to do is go ahead and hook these wires up to the 12V power.We're going to take our black wire first and we'll hook that. That's your ground. Then we'll take our red wire. That's our power wire. So I'm initially going to turn it on with just those two wires hooked it and it'll show you the light, how bright it is and the flash patterns it's set on. But these other two wires, what I mention, is the yellow wire, it's for synchronization and for your flash patterns. And what you'll do with that is once the light's on, if you just touch this yellow wire to the power wire, it will reset the flash pattern.And we mentioned there's 19 flash patterns, so when you touch it each time it'll just set it to a different flash pattern. And it's also used for synchronization. So once you get the flash pattern you need, if you have multiple lights on your trailer or your truck, you take the yellow wires, connect them all together and then they'll all sync together in that flash pattern that you choose.Now the white wire . the white wire is used for simultaneous or alternating flash. And that I won't be able to show you, but that's what you'd hook up to get the simultaneous or alternating. So what we're going to do now is go ahead and turn on the power. There's our 12V power. And you can see there's two amber right here and two clear. So you can see them flashing back and forth and how bright they are. I'll go ahead and turn off the overhead lights. You can see with the lights off it's very bright for just four LEDs.There's the pattern it's set on. Now what I'm going to do is I'm going to take the yellow wire and touch it. And you can see after I touched it, it reset it to a different flash pattern. I'm going to do it one more time. There you go. And one last time. There you go. So you can see how it just changes the pattern. Now we'll go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights. And we'll go ahead and turn off our power, disconnect it. But that should do it for the review on the four LED surface mount strobe light with the clear lens and the amber and clear LEDs.
