Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the metal Zip Clip. This is going to help secure your wire to your trailer. This is a very durable metal clip. And keep in mind, this is completely enclosed. So this is going to work best for if you're adding new wire to your trailer, or redoing wires.
Because you're going to have to have at least one end and that can be pushed through here. If you already have wire run on your trailer and hooked up, we do have some other options here at etrailer.com that will just clip onto that existing wiring to help hold that in place. But for this one specifically, you're going to have to be able to run your wire through there. It is going to mount with the screws. It does not come with the screws, so you will have to provide those yourself. The holes here have a diameter of 3/16ths of an inch.
Our overall dimensions for this bracket, we're going to be right about two inches long, and I have about 15/16ths. Just shy of one inch wide or tall, depending on how you want to look at it. This hole diameter here, it's right about an inch and a half. You can see, we do have those teeth that kind of come in at a slight angle back towards the mounting side of the bracket. So those will help keep your wire in place to make sure that it's not moving around on you.
Our mounting hole distance between these two, from center to center, we're looking at right about. I'd call it an inch and 5/8ths of an inch in center to center. So just make sure this is going to work for you. You're obviously going to probably need more than one of these. So pick up as many as you need to get your wire run on your trailer, to make sure that that's staying up and off the ground.Think this is going to be a great option for you.
It is a solid metal, so you're not going to have to worry about it falling apart or breaking on you or anything like that. It's going to be a great option to help keep that wire up off the ground. That's going to complete our look at the metal Zip Clip. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.
