Today we're gonna take a look at the Optronics LED light strip 12 volt connector with wire lead.This is a snap-on design. Now this is going to allow you to make a connection with an LED light strip to any 12 volt power source. It is going to have that snap-on design to make that connection a lot easier.This is going to work with LED or Optronic LED light strips, part numbers UCL90CB and UCL90BCB. Both of those are sold separately, right here at etrailer.com, so you can pick those up to go with your snap-on connector.Now, this allows you to make that connection really easily without having to solder any wires.One thing I will note with this is that that connection there, that snap-on, it's kinda hard to undo if you accidentally snap that closed before you need it, or if you ever need to take it back off, it's kinda hard to undo. There's just two very small pegs that this rests on that holds it shut, and you have to get in there with a flat-bladed screwdriver, or maybe a pick or something to pop that open. I was able to pop it open when I clipped it closed, so it is possible, but you just wanna be very careful to undo that.
Now, if you had the light strip in place, that might be a little harder, but it is possible to do.On the backside of that, there's a double-sided piece of foam tape so that you can get that mounted up, to keep it out of the way. Of course, it's not a bad idea to maybe zip tie it, or use some other attachments, especially for the wiring connection, to make sure that it's not being pulled or anything like that.So you can see, we have our two connectors on the inside that's going to provide our connection, and when you snap that closed it is gonna hold pretty tightly, so it'll keep that connection really well.Again, it is possible to pop that open, I just kind of pried from one side. You might have to pull out on the side you're prying with your fingernail. As you can see, it holds pretty tight.So just a warning, if you accidentally clip that close, it's gonna be tricky to get it back open.Now as far as the dimensions with this, that snap connection is just gonna be about an inch long. Just that little connector itself.
And it's gonna be about half an inch wide. Our wiring, or our wired pigtail there is gonna be about five inches long. So overall, this is gonna measure about six inches in total.And that's gonna do it for our look at the Optronics LED light strip 12 volt connector with wire leads.

Order spool and two extra ends.
Fitment was great and have spare material to use on something else or at another location on bus.
Tried looking online, no vids except how great the product looks. no help with customer service. Ended up soldering the wiring to the light strip. These connectors are useless and a waste of money.
Though I have yet to install these lights on my RV because of poor weather, they look to be of excellent quality.

Takes a bit of effort to make them work sometimes but once the connection is made they are great.
Nice bright product, gives plenty of bright white light.Does not stick well to a polished exterior RV surface, I had to use an additional adhesive for exterior RV use, but other than that it’s great. Also used it under the framework to provide indirect perimeter lighting, As well as additional under frame step lighting. So far the product has performed perfectly.
The follow up for your company is extremely and unfortunately poor. After placing order and a week later, without any followup email to advise me that there was a hold on a part , I was told the dayy i called to find out what happened to the order, after that they said the part was shipping out of there warehouse the follwing day, your process of shipping also poor, will not be ordering any parts from this company.
The connectors worked fine, but the sticky on the back, not so good. I had to use caulk to get them to stay on. Same with the lights.
I bought 2 of these snap on connectors and one broke and the pins to pierce the strip bent and got gummed up with adhesive. I cleaned it up, bent pin back and kinda fixed it but I doubt the damaged one will last. There are few other options so buy an extra or two. Alternatively, the Optronics strips have about 4" long red/black wires at BOTH ends of the strips which would be uglier but make for a superior connection between two strips.
Haven't had a chance to install the amber lights but the led strips look killer. Im putting them on a hay ride wagon I've built .

Nice bright lights, and seem to be of good quality. Could be better protected with UV inhibitor‘s though, seem to yellow a little bit in direct sunlight. I protected mine with a cover but sustained Exposure to sunlight could yellow them substantially. Still give them a four star rating
