Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver and Wiring Harness For Trailer Towing With 2022 Ford Bronco Sport
Question:
What receiver and wiring harness do you recommend for a 2022 Ford Bronco Sport to be able to haul my utility trailer?

I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C76HR for your 2022 Ford Bronco Sport. This is the easiest receiver to install as it bolts to the frame rails rather than having to remove the rear fascia from your Bronco as other receivers will require. It has a tongue weight capacity of 525lbs and trailer weight capacity of 3,500lbs, be sure to not exceed any weight capacities given by Ford for your specific Bronco.
The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK46FR will give you a 4-way flat connector that will allow for you to connect to most small trailers. This will allow the lights of the trailer to operate off your Bronco. The Curt Easy Mount Bracket # C58001 will allow you to secure the 4-way connector to the end of receiver should you choose to run the connector outside the rear of the Bronco rather than having to run it through your rear hatch when the wiring is needed.
Our etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900 will provide you with 2 ball mounts, 2 receiver pins, a 2" hitch ball, a 1-7/8" hitch ball and the storage bag. You will be able to choose the ball mount that best levels your utility trailer and match it with the correct size hitch ball to match your coupler.
