Where To Put Wheel Well Panel On 2021 Ford Bronco Sport When Install Curt Trailer Hitch C76HR
Question:
How did you re-attach the wheel well panel you removed early on in the video. You mentioned you did not cut it suggesting you might attach it again after the install. I would want to secure it myself so it doesnt flop around but dont see a way to do so since there is no corresponding holes in the hitch bracket metal. Did you secure it somehow and if so, how?

When we installed the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C76HR on a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport like yours you are correct that we did not cut the wheel well panel off. There is not a way that we found to reattach it, and just stuck it up behind the frame rail as you can see at the 4:15 minute mark of the included install video.
With the hitch being bolted onto the frame rail right next to it, it keeps the wheel well panel from being able to move out of place. If you want you may be able to find an unused hole on the side of the frame, or another location that the panel can be zip tied to that way it cannot move.
If you are planning on towing a trailer with your new Bronco Sport you will also need a vehicle wiring harness # TK46FR, and a hitch ball, ball mount, and hitch pin and clip which can all be found in the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
