Today, we're going take a look at the Mighty Cord 25 foot long, wishbone, four way trailer wiring harness with the 36 inch long ground wire. This is a 25 foot long, split wishbone, four way trailer wiring harness that has four conductors and a 36 inch ground wire. Basically, the four way trailer end, which is a molded one piece end, is built right in. Each wire on this is a 20 gauge size wire. Now, this wishbone wire is a Y harness that will contain an extra tail light wire, makes wiring the trailer very quick and easy. What basically happens when you use this, because the brake signal is sent along the same wire as each turn signal, the tail light signal is the only one that needs to be run along both sides of the trailer. This Y harness or wishbone harness with the four way flat connector contains two separate tail light wires, the brown wires right here.
One is bundled with the left turn, which is the yellow, and one is bundled with the green wire, which is the right turn. When you go to wire this, it'll make wiring your trailer very quick and easy and simple to do. As they mentioned, you can see it has the 36 long separate white ground wire that you need to connect to a good, clear ground. Exactly what I needed to rewire a 20-year-old trailer that was starting to show it's age with inconsistent lighting performance and continuity issues. In addition to purchasing this lighting harness, I upgraded all my incandescent bulb side markers and taillights with LED units and complete rewired the trailer. etrailer had everything I needed in one place with excellent pricing and superb service. I installed the 25 foot wishbone 4 way trailer harness on my restored 1969 boat trailer a year ago. It was easy to install. I tied the wires into two new side lights on each side of trailer and the tail lights. Everything worked and I would purchase again.

Low quality wiring. You get what you pay for. Insulation does come off when separating wires. If you need separate runs, buy the wiring on separate spools. If just using this for a trailer that does not require splitting the wires up, you should be fine, but I don't anticipate the wiring lasting longer than a few years.
