Video Transcript for Redline Trailer Fenders - No Step - PF775X21W Review

Today we're going to be reviewing part number PF775X21W. This is the Redline Single-Axle Trailer Fender in white. It is designed to fit 8 to 12-inch wheels. With this part number, one fender is included. It is designed to work for single-axle trailers. It's going to work great for marine applications. It's constructed of a white plastic, which makes it corrosion and impact-resistant. This does require 2 installation brackets that are sold separately.

Those can be found at etrailer.com with part number PF775-BKT-2. You can see here that it does have 2 pre-drilled mounting holes on each side. Those are square. Each one is going to measure about 3/8 of an inch in width. This square is going to be 3/8 by 3/8. To be exact, it's right at, from edge to edge, 7/16 of an inch. Keep in mind, when using plastic, you do have a little bit of flex in there, since it is a plastic material.

That will give a little bit, if you need to use a larger bolt application. The distance from the center of one hole to the center of the other is going to measure 3-1/2 inches. That's going to be the same on each side. If we measure from the center of one hole on the front to the center of one hole on the rear, it's going to give us a measurement right around 18 inches. Once again, this is designed to be used with single-axle trailers with 8-inch to 12-inch diameter wheels. You can see here that we have the nice curved lip 01:48 on both sides. Thats really going to help trap in the road debris that may flare up from the wheel, keeping it from harming any vehicles around us and also keeping it from damaging any cargo that we're holding on our trailer. The overall length is going to give us a measurement of 21 inches.

Overall height is going to measure 5-1/4 of an inch. Then the overall width is going to measure 7-3/4 of an inch. Keep in mind that when mounting, you want to be sure that you do it in such a way that's going to be best suitable for your trailer. That's going to do it for today's review of part number PF775X21W. This is the Single-Axle Trailer Fender from Redline for 8-inch to 12-inch wheels. .

Very nice replacement fenders. Had about a year and the are holding up nicely
I expect they will last a long time

by:

I bought two fenders. One looked way newer than the other. But they were exactly what I needed and couldn't find locally

by:

Boat fenders were sent promptly and they were exactly as described. Perfect! Thanks so much!

by:

I needed a new fender after a tire blew and took out the old one. This fender was a exact match. Thanks

by:

Fenders & crank handle were packaged better than anything I have received lately, especially the Ama... company. Thanks for the prompt shipment!

by:

I have an old utility trailer and just finished a renovation of it. These fenders were just what I needed to finish the job. Be sure to order the angle brackets for mounting. Hardware not provided.

One year later, the fenders are holding up well. They provide a nice finished touch to the appearance of the trailer.

by:

Just what I needed. Inexpensive and does the trick. Looks fine! Real value

by:

The fender was a perfect fit for the one I had ruined. The old fender was fastened with steel bolts and nuts that were badly rusted and they were extremely hard to get off. I decided I would go one better on the replacement. I purchased stainless steel stove bolts and stainless steel nylon insert nuts. That was a mistake. The plastic square hole in the fender to hold the top of the stove bolt was not strong enough to endure the pressure of the nylon insert nuts. So I had to get in there with a vice grip to hold the heads. I made a simple project very difficult. And Heaven help me if I EVER have to get that fender back off! So advice - good idea to use stainless steel bolts but also just use plain stainless steel nuts!
Fender still looks good and I am pleased!

by:

Lowered my skiff 4 inches on my trailer for easier loading at shallow ramps and old steel fenders were too tall and also heavy. My tires are 12 inch and fenders were just right for protective coverage. These short and light weight plastic fenders did the trick with the help of 1/2 inch spacers to make sure they were out wide enough to miss the hull. Plus, plastic won't hurt the hull if they did hit slightly.
Great little fenders, made in USA, great price and service from etrailer!
Thanks.

by:

The fenders arrived in two days, shipped out the same day as ordered. They are very nicely made and do a great job of covering the wheel on the trailer. The original steel fenders were cracked and in danger of falling off. These fenders with the mounting brackets fixed the problem. I am very satisfied with them.

by:

I've been searching far and wide for a replacement trailer fender and finally to a bit of a risk and ordered one from eTRailer based on the comments about the fender. I had to ferret out the dimensions and this fender and hope it fit - it did - it wasn't an exact replacement. Recommendation - include a fitment guide in the description with exact hole pattern layout an make this easier. Thanks for making this available and carrying it.

by:

I have mixed emotions about my fender order. The order was processed quickly and were shipped quickly. When I received them I was very impressed with them. The fender color and my trailer color are exactly the same. The problem is that they don't fit. My original fender was about one inch longer than these are so now I will have to cut off the mounts and get new ones welded on the trailer in order to make these fit. When ordering I checked measurements and they seemed to be the same, but reality says that they weren't.

by:

Matched my old fender perfectly. It will hold my weight unloading the boat from my trailer.

by:

The fender for my jet ski trailer arrived promptly and was the exact size of the one that needed to be replaced . It did come in somewhat dirty though. Which was no big deal to clean off.
Thanks Ken

by:

I have not yet installed the fenders on my sailboat trailer bu I have been able to hold them in position and it looks like they will work just fine. They are exactly as described and will work well.

by:

Great little fenders for the price. Assembly easy enough after cleaning the existing bolts. Would have bought these replacements earlier had there been mounting dimensions. Wife is happy I won’t be tossing rocks up behind me in traffic anymore.

by:

Came in timely matter and fit as specif ied.

by:

Just got my fenders they look great, haven't install them yet due to my jet ski is at the dealer ship but as soon as get it back I will post a pic, costumer service is wonderfull, I'll definitely recommend etrailer for all you need, thanks against for all your help folks.

by:

These were and exact replacement for the fenders on my Jon boat trailer. Very happy with the product.

by:

As advertised and meets the criteria for my home built trailer. Remember to order the brackets... I forgot

by:

This product came in record time and at a low cost for the quality. I will consider ordering again from etrailer in the future because of the way they do business.
Thanks, etrailer.

by:

Perfect fit, arrived a later than planned and a fair price point for the product.

by:

Perfect fit . Little modification for brackets and bolted right to the frame. Looks great.

by:

I can always count on getting a great product and getting it delivered in a short
amount of time. This is the reason I keep shopping at etrailer.com. Keep up the
great work.

  • What Mounting Hardware to Mount Fulton Single Axle Trailer Fenders
The Galvanized Steel, L-Shaped, Bolt-On Brackets for Plastic Single-Axle Fender # PF775-BKT-2, which can be used to mount the Fulton # F008554 fenders have 1/2" bolt holes on them- so you'd need to use bolts that size if using those. • What is the Spacing on the mounting Holes for Trailer Fender PF775X21W
I went out to the warehouse and pulled trailer fender # PF775X21W. The holes on the top are 3-9/16 inches apart on center. The holes are 3/8 to 7/16 inches wide (there is a little room for tolerances since the plastic can expand and contract a little). You can use mounting brackets # PF775-BKT-2 to mount the fender.

  • Metal Fender Recommendation for PWC Trailer
We offer several metal fender that could work for your trailer (see attached link), but none of them are going to bolt directly to your current trailer fender brackets. A trailer fender like the part # CE17701G would work well on a smaller PWC trailer like what you have but mounting holes would need to be drilled in it. I attached a dimension picture for the fender as well as a review video for you to check out.

  • How to Choose the Correct Boat Trailer Fender
What determines the size fender you need is your trailer's wheel size. The fender in your photo looks like the model from Redline. The smallest version of this we carry is # PF775X21W and is for wheels that are between 8" and 12". It is 7-3/4" wide x 21" long x 5-1/4" tall and requires installation brackets # PF775-BKT-2.

We offer quite a few different plastic trailer fenders that will work with the 12" wheels on your 4x8 Harbor Freight trailer like the Single Axle Trailer Fender # PF775X21W, but all of our fenders will require a mounting bracket and will not be able to be directly bolted on. For example the # PF775X21W will need the Bolt-On Brackets for Plastic, Single-Axle Fender # PF775-BKT-2. • Replacement Fenders for 2005 Triton LT WCI-I PWC Trailer
I wasn't able to locate the Triton 0507453 fenders online. We classify our fender selections by the diameter of the trailer wheel. The # PF775X21W for instance, is designed for an 8-12 inch diameter wheel. I looked up your PWC trailer online, and it looks like we have some fenders that would be a pretty close match, assuming that your trailer uses 12 inch wheels. If that's the case, use # F008592 for silver, # F008582 for black or # F008572 for white.
