Rust-resistant terminals are further protected by a molded dust cover, and all wires are color coded.I purchased the Hopkins wire harness 48265 based on positive reviews. This is going on a vintage camper trailer that we rebuilt the back end. The back sheet metal that the tail lights mount to was replaced with new sheetmetal. Old wiring was routed to back and new sheet metal was installed, then lights were wired. I wanted to use a sheet of silicon seal on tail lights and that causes a grounding issue. So now ground wires will have to be run to frame. Since back sheet metal has to come back off, decided it was time to replace the wire system. Since it is hard to get at the wiring for the tail lights, it was important for me that I use a quality harness. This harness had the 18 gauge wire with 16 gauge for ground. Some harnesses were 20 gauge wire and reviews for those was described as cheap and concerns that it wouldn't last but a few years. Everything I read about the Hopkins 48265 was positive. If the wire set is as good as the quick attention I received fron Etrailer, I m sure it will be 5 star. Thanks to the people at Etrailer. Kev
