Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

Adam: Hi everyone, Adam with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at SmartStraps Axle Straps with D-rings. So these are going to be ideal for hauling either your side-by-side or even a pickup truck that you may have. There's a bunch of different sizes that we can go for, right now, we have the 21 inch version and the 31 inch version both are going to be two inches wide, and it's going to have a safe working load limit of about 3,333 pounds and we are going to have a maximum weight at about 10,000 pounds for this little strap. We do have a great eight coding on these D-rings so they're going to resist against rust and corrosion and they're going to be extremely strong and durable. One of the things I like about both the 21 and the 31 inch is it comes with this paint saver.Basically, it's just going to make sure a lot of that friction, when you tighten this down, isn't going to be rubbing against your axles and that could damage your paint over time.
Luckily, this is going to easily slide up and down the strap, so you don't have to worry about damaging anything whenever you are strapping it down. And that's really what these things are meant for it's to get a secure strap down whatever you may be strapping but it's also meant to protect your vehicle or your side-by-side, whatever it may be. Definitely something I would recommend. You can actually grab some Ratchet Straps that are made for actual straps. It's just all personal preference, or you can use normal straps on this as well.

It loops around the axle to create an anchor point for attaching a ratcheting strap. 10,000 lbs Max load.Not really sure, because they arrived after I needed them to aid in strapping my Rhino on my trailer to take it to my cabin. The original estimate was plenty early enough to utilize them, but due to being out of stock , supplier problems, and shippers dealing with covid related traffic I will not be able to evaluate them until my utv’s return trip this fall. However, upon my initial inspection today, they seem like they are quite well made, sturdy, and will probably do a good job in securing my utv to my trailer. While this is not a huge deal compared to the virus, paying for shipping and having it two weeks late is a bummer. Still, the d straps do seem to be a good value !
I use these to tie down an UTV on a trailer. They work fine and help avoid scratching paint from tie down hooks or where there is nowhere to attach a hook.

Straps working great to tie down side by side. Better than attaching ratchet straps directly.
These straps appear to be decent quality and the price was reasonable.

The tie down straps have proven to be of great quality. I would purchase them again if I needed more.
all the products seem to be excellent, I haven't installed everything yet, but had a small problem with delivery. The people at etrailer listened to my problem and went out of they're way to make it right, very happy.
