Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at the JIF Marine 15-inch long aluminum transom support plate.Now this transom plate, all that extra support helps balance and distribute the weight of your boat's outboard motor, and it'll also reduce the stress on the boat's transom.This is a die-cast aluminum alloy. It's very sturdy and resists corrosion. And as you can see, it's a bolt-on installation, has the two pre-drilled holes. Now the mounting hardware to install this is not included.Want to give you a few dimensions on this.
Overall length from one end to the other is right at 15 inches long, width on it is right at two inches wide, and the thickness of it is three-eights of an inch. Now the measurement on the mounting holes center to center is going to be right at 13 inches center to center.But that should do it for the review on this JIF Marine 15-inch long aluminum transom support plate.
