Michael : Hi there, I'm Michael, with etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a look at the HappiJac replacement Stress-Guard Turnbuckle. This is going to replace one of your Stress-Guard Turnbuckles for your HappiJac Quick-Load Turnbuckle set. The turnbuckle, as you already know, is going to attach your camper to your truck so that it stays secure. You're not going to have to worry about it shifting while you're traveling, and it's going to hold it down to your camper.One end is going to attach to the camper itself. The other end is going to attach to the anchor point provided by your truck's tie-down system.
This replacement is going to have the removable handle here that's going to allow us to quickly and easily attach and detach from our camper. It's going to have the rubber cushion on it to be more comfortable. Especially in the hot and cold temperatures, you don't want to have to touch bare metal. And it can be removed for storage and to prevent any sort of theft of our camper or our turnbuckle. Also, going to have the locking pin that can keep our turnbuckle in place when we need it to, but it can also be quickly removed so that we can have function of our turnbuckle again.This unit is going to be, about, just a little over three feet.
I'd call it, maybe, about 37 inches long. Total . the threaded section of our hook here, it's about 14 inches. Total length of our hook is right about 24. The turnbuckle itself, that's right about seven and a quarter, maybe, seven and an eighth.
Just give you an idea.Make sure this is the part that you need. This is all same quality as the original that you got in your set. It's got that steel construction with the reinforced half-inch solid-steel round hook. It's got the same 4,000 pound weight capacity as the original and it is made here in the USA. The HappiJac Qwik-Load turnbuckles is an excellent choice for my Artic-Fox and Ram 3500 dually truck. The only reason I gave 4 stars rather than five is the size of the pin/lock hole that the turnbuckle came with. To get the Torklift Fastgun Locks to fit required drilling the hole out to a 9/32" size. Took 2 minutes to do but it had to be drilled. Great combination now.
Less than 24 hours after reporting the problem with a open box and missing part and the replacement was sent! Yay etrailer Customer Service is number 1.
Great product. So simple to assemble and use. Cut my "connection time" to almost nothing compared to my turnbuckle system. Great purchase. I plan to buy two more to complete my set.

At first I was disappointed the tie down I ordered would be delayed. etrailer offered a more expensive upgrade which I took, later realizing it better suited my need.
