Today we're going to be taking a look at part number ALL648591, this is the Power Built Brake Leader Master Kit. This kit can be used for bleeding all types of automotive hydraulic cylinders by one person. It's going to come with a plastic bottle. This is going to hold the fluid when you're bleeding. It's also going to have that magnetic clamp on there. You're going to get all the different fittings here.
Now, depending on your application, you'll need to refer to the instructions on the back of the packaging to know when to use each fitting. The tapered fittings are designed to fit both bleed screws and master cylinder fittings, and then you're going to get the 3 pieces of vinyl hose. The bottle's going to have that magnet attached to it, so that way you can easily find a place to secure it when you're ready to bleed a line. The other end of the clear tube is going to attach to the brake bleeder screw, and then again you may or may not have to use the fittings. Once you have that connected, as you depress the brake pedal a few times, it's actually going to pump the fluid up to the bottle. Now you can also use this to bleed the master cylinder by using the different fittings, the F style fitting and the shorter hoses.
Again, you'll need to refer to the instructions. They're very detailed, they're going to tell you exactly when and where to use each fitting in each hose, depending on your application. I didn't use this as I replaced all 4 brake assemblies and needed a power bleeder instead.
This product worked very well. I was able to bleed the new brakes I installed on my boat trailer by myself. I just pushed the surge brake in with my hand until no bubbles came out and then closed the bleeder. The only reason I gave it 4 star is because the plastic line could better if it was longer and the plastic line almost didn't fit over my kodiak bleeder valve.
