Hello, neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at this Demco Slide-Lok Trailer Coupler, and it's an adjustable channel mount with a two inch ball. Now, folks, this heavy-duty coupler will let you hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle, and then provide a connection point for your hitch ball. It's very ideal for utility trailers, livestock trailers, cargo trailers, construction trailers. And it's got this nice, what they call a Slide-Lok design. You simply take the pin out, and you can pull this collar down, and it's locking as it slides up, holding this spring-actuated lever.

So I'm gonna go and push this down, so you can see it open. (coupler clanking) So as I said, it's spring loaded, you can see that spring in there. And then whenever you close it, that coupler ring slides, locking it closed. So pretty simple design. Again, the pin fastener is gonna hold the collar in place around the base of that hinge ball socket.

Now, another nice feature is the fact that it is channel mounted. So this would match up to a channel bracket that is sold separately, it needs a three inch wide channel bracket to work. And this would sit inside the channel with your two bolts or pins, depending on what you have holding it into that channel. It holds a two inch ball. I got one here under my table, so I can show you how this works.

(coupler clanking) There you go. And when it's time to release, open up, simply comes out. Put my ball back. It's made here in the USA, great quality, nice prime. I'm gonna call it like a desert coyote kind of light tan color, but that's kind of the color we're working with here.

I know it's kinda hard to see in the different lights here. Again, 7,000 pound capacity, two inch ball is what it fits, and a three inch wide channel bracket.
