Correct, you are indeed missing a very critical component of the Yakima SwingDaddy 8002464, the wedge mechanism. Now, I have good news and bad news for you. The good news is that we have what you need to get the rack functional again but the bad news is that you must replace the entire swing arm as the wedge mechanism is not replaceable by itself.
