Today, we're going to take a look at the RockyMounts Five Foot Long Lester Cable Combination Lock. This lock is designed for low crime areas to prevent any grab-and-go bike theft. It has a nice, light, programmable lock right here. It's great for children to use. Does use a large combination wheel that are very easy to turn. Has a re-settable four digit combination that you can set your code with.
Does use a spring-loaded lock catch, which is very easy to open and close. The cable it uses is a nice, braided steel cable, which is very flexible and resistant to cutting. As you can see, it is a self-coiling cable, has a nice vinyl coating over the whole cable to protect your bike frame, and it is a sealed cable, so it will not rust. Dimensions on this cable is five feet in length, and 7/16 inch diameter. Again, just to set your lock, all you have to do is set the initial setting to zeros all the way across, open it up, use your set dial here to plug in your combination you want to use, and then you're all ready to go. Works great. Makes it much easier to transport and store my bike rack. It's well balanced and easy to maneuver.
