Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Valterra RV Water Pump Connection Kit. Now this RV Water Pump Connection kit will include the 236 inch long high pressure hoses with the nylon fittings on each end and the two pump adapters. Now this RV pump kit includes everything you'll need to connect your water pump and fresh water pipes. Basically, it'll connect the fresh water pipes to the water pump's inlet and outlet ports, and the hoses themselves.
We're gonna zoom in here, if you look at 'em, they are a high pressure reinforced hose. Helps eliminate water pump noise by reducing surges in the water pressure, and it'll minimize vibrations that travel through your water pipes. They are a universal design, we mentioned, it comes with these two pump adapters that'll convert fittings that have female threading, hose length, again, is 36 inches long. Hose diameter's a half an inch. But that should do it for the review on this Valterra RV Water Pump Connection Kit.

This product is marketed for pump silencing, but I'm not sure how much silencing it does. I use it for relocating the pump without the need for extensive replumbing. The kit would be more useful if one end of each hose had a 90 degree fitting.

Not sure how well it silences because the pump is already pretty quiet. I bought these more for the ease of repositioning the new pump in a different orientation since it has a water filter and the old pump didn’t. Works great so far. I would recommend no matter your needs.

- Can the HydroMax RV Fresh Water Pump Be Connected To a Garden HoseThe HydroMax RV Fresh Water Pump part # P25201 is not designed to attach directly to a garden hose but rather a hose with blunt cut end. If you prefer a threaded connection then you would want to use the Valterra RV Pump Kit part # P23512PB but as far as any adapter goes we do not offer this though I am sure one could be obtained locally at a home improvement store. If you have the space I would absolutely recommend going with an accumulator tank to take the pressure and stress off of your pump. The Seaflo Accumulator Tank for Marine and RV Water Pumps - 0.75 Liter item # SE38FR would be a great addition to your set up it will trap and absorb water and air in the tank which lessens the noise. This accumulator will work well with the HydroMax RV Fresh Water Pump - 12 Volt - 3 Gallons Per Minute - 55 psi item # P25201 you referenced....
