Today we'll be taking a look at the replacement Velcro strip for ACCESS Tonneau Covers.This is going to be the hook side only for that tonneau cover to get secured down to your truck rails. So, it installs on either side. There's enough to get this installed on your long bed trucks but then if you need to cut it down to fit your short bed, it can also do that.It has a stiff backing here so that we can get that attached and then it will . it's kind of curved right now, so you might need to let it sit out for a minute to get it to lay flat, but it's going to be compatible with the ACCESS Original, LORADO and Low Rider Tonneau Covers.Overall, it measures 17 ft long and 1 1/2 inch wide. So, you pop that out there, put my ruler over and you can see that's 1 1/2 inch wide, there.It's going to include the hook side of that Velcro strip plus four small self tapping screws. So, that will help to hold down each end of your two strips for either side of your truck.And, that's going to do it for a look at the replacement Velcro strip for ACCESS Tonneau Covers..

I got the right thing first try. After checking several sights, with vague descriptions and extremely high postage charges, trailer
had just what I wanted. It arrived very quickly.
Piece of cake! Why didn’t I do this sooner!? Took about 10 minutes. I had to;
Remove two Phillips #1 self tapping screws from both rails, pull out old Velcro insert with a needle nose pliers, cut new piece in half, install new one via sliding it in the channeled rails, trim the front carefully to match rail with a utility knife, replaced self tapping screws in new spot on front, trimmed back and installed self tapping screws in new spot.
DONE! Closed my cover and could actually pull it snug and secure via the new parts! Nice.

Fantastic product. I have been dreading this project thinking I was going to need to purchase a whole new cover kit. Then I came across this extremely easy and convenient fix. Thanks to etrailer.com for having just what I needed. This literally took me less than 10 minutes to complete. You will see in the photos that i used a sharpie to mark the holes for ease of finding them with the new material in place to avoid drilling additional holes etc.. I am thrilled with the results. My tonneau cover is back to new again.
On a scale of 1-5 for ease of use, 1-super easy, skill level, 1, anybody can do it.
Tools needed: drill with Phillips head, razor knife to cut the material and a pair of pliers to pull the old hook and loop out.
These velcro strips are heavy duty and hold my tonneau cover very well. My only gripe is wishing this stuff came with it's own self adhesive backing. Because I have a LUND tonneau cover, I do not have the channel that these strips just slide and lock into. Therefore, I used 3M outdoor rated double sided tape to secure these velcro strips to my truck bed.
The velcro strip fit my Access cover perfectly. It was easy to install and has stopped my cover from flapping when driving.

Installation was extremely easy. It took me maybe 15 minutes all together, between drilling out the old rivets, pulling the old velcro strips out and putting the new strips in. I could've put rivets back in to secure the strips in place but I got lazy and used the included screws instead.
After trying snaps that only broke.Easy install. Velcro holds tighter than new. No more flapping tonneau cover.Took less than five minutes.!!

I would recommend this product to anyone that wants to change out their velcro strip on their Tonneau cover. It works!
Quick shipping, great communication. Very easy to replace, even on a chilly winter day in Wisconsin. My husband used the old strip as a guide to drill new holes for the new strip. Have a sharp knife for trimming. 15 minutes max to complete the project.

Received replacement Velcro within a few days of ordering. Very easy to replace. The new Velcro was a perfect fit. Even used same screws from factory fit. Thank you for a great product and one that’s easy to replace!!

Was a little unsure of the size(width) I needed to order but I contacted etrailer.com via the website and they got back to me the next day. I have the original Access cover and a lot of the newer, low profile tops apparently don't use the 1 1/2" wide velcro. The A30474 part fits like a glove. Replacing it was easy, remove two small screws and old material slid right out. Used a sharp knife and cut the taper on the ends to match. New velcro slid right in the grooves. Took me <1 hr to install.
My only installation concern, temp was about 55..60 the day I did this. Haven't yet had a really warm day to see if it will expand a lot. If so, I may need to make an adjustment in the length or location of the screws
Otherwise, no concerns and the help from etrailer.com was great

A year later and the new velcro is working great. No problems and the help from the etrailer folks was spot on
They have what I need, when I need it. Reasonable rates and and they ship typically the same day.

Works great better than I expected
Wife loves it, replaced the loose strips on her tonneau cover, top back to sealing almost totally water tight.
The velcro strips arrived ahead of the scheduled date. The strips were easy to cut and simple to install. The total time form start to finish 15 minutes and they worked perfectly. Great product and will let friends and neighbors know they are available.
A perfect fit for my old access cover, could not find the 1.5" anywhere including [on-line retailer] I have it installed and it took less then 1/2 hour to completely install and trim both sides.

Wow...it couldn't have been easier! Our tonneau cover works almost as well as the day it was first installed 16 years ago! Excellent value and no more dancing cover...just can't tell you how simple it was to install. Thank you for offering such a great product!
