Helped seal up leaks between the tonneau cover and bed liner on our F150.1552040

I recently bought a new 2016 F150 ,. The dealer took my tonneau cover off my 2010 F150 trade in and put it on the new one. The sales person who did it didn't switch the front seal with the cover so I had a gap under the front rail between the truck bed and the cover. This seal is exactly what I was looking for . The price was right and the shipping by etrailer.com was very fast. The carrier was the only problem as they sent it to the wrong state which delayed delivery by 2-3 days otherwise even though I chose economy shipping the delivery would have been just 3-4 days. I used this seal, as recommended, on the top front edge of my Tundra box before installing an Access brand tonneau cover. I did sand the area that the seal would contact to remove any texture from the spray on box liner. I would probably have a bit more confidence in the adhesive if it were a somewhat wider strip but I think it will be adequate. 349118

I have a cap and tonneau cover, so I switch back and forth as needed. It is still hold on strong.

This product worked well for sealing the Access Tonneau cover that I put on my 2008 Dodge Ram 3500.727173

This product would not work with my tuxedo cover. When installed it lifted up the rubber lip at the front end of the box allowing more water into the bed. It did not suit my needs. It probably will work for other pick up truck covers but did not work for me I found other issues that would not stop water from leaking into the bed. I also have gaps on the two corners of the install Tuxedo cover. I will need to go to the installer to see what they can do to remedy the leaks.

It's really to soon to make a review on this product; I received the product and installed it three days ago. I will know if the product really does what it's supposed to do when I drive my pickup in the rain. My problem is that my tonneau cover would leak when driving it in the rain. My hopes are that this product will eliminate the leaking problem.

However, I will review the seller; they are great. This is my second order from etrailer.com, and I couldn't be happier with their products, prices, and delivery methods. The delivery was several days earlier than expected. I don't remember ever ordering a product where the order tracking actually shows a map of the route from the seller to the buyer. It did the job initially, but after about 6 months I had to put new 3M tape on it as it stopped sticking.1512873

Product looks like it's going to work just fine. Could be a little taller of a lip and could have a larger adhesive strip. It barely hits my tonneau cover but should work365117

The weather stripping seems to work well although in my case was smaller than the original weather stripping. Had to be careful when attaching it to be sure to cover all of the gaps. If any shrinking of the product occurs, I am sure water will get through.206311
