Replacement Tarp for the TruXedo TruXport on a 2006 Chevrolet Colorado with 6 Foot Bed
Question:
Hello, I have an older Truxport soft Tonneau cover for my 2006 Chevy Colorado with a six foot bed. There is no model number indicated anywhere or posted date on the tarp. I need a replacement tarp and latches. I believe I found the matching latches on your website but I am wondering if part TX2433-CVR will be a proper replacement tarp for my existing. In other words, will it work? Thanks,

Expert Reply:
The correct replacement tarp for the TruXedo TruXport Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover part # TX243301 that you have on your 2006 Chevrolet Colorado with the 6' bed is the Replacement Tarp for TruXedo TruXport Soft, Roll-up Tonneau Cover part # TX2433-CVR. Then for the latches you would want to use part # TX1117755 if the cover was made after April 2011. There are no longer replacements available for covers older than that.
In order to determine when the cover was made you will need to look for date code which should be printed in white ink on the backside of the cover. You will also need either this or the serial number for the replacement cover. Unfortunately, there would be no way to determine a replacement if neither the date code or serial number cannot be found.
