Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Extang replacement safety clamp assembly. This is going to replace a damaged cab clamp assembly on your Extang. It will work for all Extang Trifecta series tonneau covers, and so since this is a direct replacement from Extang, you can trust this is gonna fit right in place of that original. You're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues or anything like that. So this will include a complete safety clamp assembly that will allow you you to hook under the wall flange of your truck bed to install your front bow on your tonneau cover to your truck.

The part installed quickly & fit perfectly. Slight delay in shipping but etrailer called to let me know and offered me the option to cancel. So glad I didn't.
I just bought this truck used. I was going to haul a large object, so I wanted to remove tonneau cover, it was then I noticed one of the hold down clamps was broken, so when I removed it I couldn't put cover back on. I searched on line and found etrailer sold the part I needed. Price was great, Fast shipping, exact fit product. I will return to them if I find I need more replacement parts.
Threads inside the handle striped on the first installation, I can no longer tighten or loosen to adjust cover placement or remove.
Bought a used tonneau cover. Had to replace 2 hinges and 1 cab-side clamp/post. Arrived In 3 days, easy to replace. Happy at this point.

Shipped quickly and although I have not installed them yet, they appear to be exactly what I needed.
One of the problems with the Extang Solid Fold 2.0 tonneau covers is that the clamps holding it down near the tailgate are spring loaded. Someone could easily lift up the tonneau cover to see what is in your bed. Depending on whay you have in the bed someone could reach in and take something.
We do a lot of camping in the summer so having the ability to lock the tonneau cover to the bed is important.
These clamps will lock the tonneau cover to the bed.

As you know the Extang tonneau cover has two spring loaded clamps near the tail gate. Someone could lift up the tonneau cover and see what is inside the bed. When we travel to large cities like New York or Boston or head to the mountains for some skiing we may stop to grab a bite to eat before heading to the hotel. I swap out the spring loaded clamps with these non spring loaded clamps. This way the tonneau cover is completely secured to the truck. So far they have worked out perfectly. Definitely worth the piece of mind of having the bed of your truck more secure. So far its been a year since I purchased these and I have not been disappointed.
Exactly what I was looking for and at a fair price. Shipping was not only super quick it was reasonable as well.

After a years use the product is still holding tight. No signs of loosening or letting go.

After a year my cover looks great and operates flawlessly. I looked at many brands and took my time to pick the one I thought had the highest quality to give me the most reliable service. I wanted a cover that was strong and that would allow me to lock my work tools in the bed of my truck and know they were secure and protected from theft and the weather. I got everything I wanted and then some - I am very happy with the choice I made.

One more year gone and My cover is still working very well. Although I have noticed one small flaw one edge of the right front corner seems to have had a small bit if water seepage causing a very minor bubble. I dont think anyone would notice but me, it is the only problem I have noticed. I am still very happy with my Extang cover purchase and would certainly recommend it to anyone.
The Parts were just what I needed! My old cover works great.

Worked out great performing as needed
My bed cover has not moved since I installed these new clips. Installment was easy as well! Would certainly purchase from this site again.
These are nothing like the original cab clamps that came on my Extang Trifecta 2.0. The description for these cab clamps was a bit hard to decipher. It said " Replacement Cab Clamp Assembly for Extang Trifecta and Solid Fold 2.0 Tonneau Covers - Qty 1 - EX1034" I was unsure if it should work for the Trifecta 2.0. However, they will work as they should to hold the front of the bed cover down. Not too much trouble to install.
This item is an exact replacement for my Extang Trifecta truck bed cover. It's good to know that I can replace these parts through etrailer in the future should I need to do so. Thank you
