Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're going to be taking a quick look at the replacement slide for your Thule AeroBlade load bars. So this is going to be that little ruler slide that goes on the underside of your bars to help you figure out how far out the bars need to be. And it also takes up that gap. So if something happened where this popped out, it can cause some whistling with that roof rack. So getting it replaced is pretty important.

Taking a closer look, make sure it's a match for your bars. You can see we'll have all the measurements etched into the plastic there, so you can measure everything out. On the bottom side or the backside, we'll have these little springs to help give it a little tension as it sits in the bar. So you can slide this in and out to get where you need it to be. So it just fits in that bottom channel and makes sure that the load bars are centered on your roof.This replaces the 1350 or 1-3-5-0 slide scale for your 53 inch Thule AeroBlade load bars, either part number 711400 or 711420.
