Today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement bottom channel cover for Thule AeroBlade Load Bars. This unit replaces a lost or damaged lower cover strip on your Thule AeroBlade load bar to ensure it remains ultra quiet on your roof. The rubber strip seals the bottom of the bar to eliminate noise caused by an open channel. It fits THARB43, THARB47, THARB53, and THARB60 load bars. It's going to measure, overall length, about 14-1/4" long, and when you install this it can be cut and trimmed to best fit your bar. So this is the channel that we'd want to fill. Of course you're going to have your measuring device there.
Then you're going to have your foot pack, so, you will need to cut and trim this. I just wanted to go ahead and install as much of it as I could, or as much of it as I can. That way I can give you a good understand of what type of seal it creates. A couple different ways you can get this in there. You can place it through the end, and just feed it in. It's also an option just to line up the strip with the slot in the bar, and then just kind of press fit it into place.
Just like that. Of course you can trim, cut as needed. I just wanted you to see that it does create a nice tight seal. This is an exact replacement with the original ones that came with your load bars. That's going to do it for today's look at the replacement bottom channel cover for the Thule AeroBlade Load Bars..

Does exactly as it says. A bit overpriced but hey, it’s a Thule. It’s already overpriced
I recently installed Mopar cross rails on my Jeep Compass. It was missing these. Without them the rails are super noisy. Tried finding Mopar ones online but couldn’t. These work for Mopar too and are much quieter now. Only took a few days to arrive.

I have a roof rack purchased from Mitsubishi and installed myself on a 2017 Outlander. Recently 3 of the 4 rubber strips fell out of the bottom grooves. The dealership did not sell parts for the roof rack. I previously purchased a tow hitch and hitch cargo carrier so I decided to see what etrailer could do. This part fit perfectly.

1 year later - the covers are still holding strong. I saved the extra material for future use but have not needed it so far.
This product fits in the underslot of Thule Rapid Aero bars, where the feet slide into the slot on the underside. I bought it to reduce noise while driving, but it didn't really help much. The noise isn't bad but didn't change. Still has a small whistle that I can only hear with the windows down. ETrailer sent them promptly and no complaints there.

Retrofitted this into the older style aerobars, and it cut down the road noise from the roof bars substantially vs the original smooth rubber (this has the raised grooves on it).
needed to replace original bottom channel cover on AeroBlade after purchasing new car. Product arrived promptly and works as good as original.
They are the bottom channel cover for the aeroblades. Perfect fit. Shipping was much faster than expected. etrailer communication was over the top for a small purchase. Very pleased, will buy from them again.
Filler strip works. I have trouble getting it in the under channel tight. I lost the original ones when they fell out.
I love the idea of this item but, it doesn’t stay in place. The wind blows it out.

While this item should be fitting snuggly into place, small amounts of super glue can help to ensure it is secure.
Covered all four open channels with one strip and tiny gap. Fits just like original. Installation was simple. Fast shipping and excellent communication.

These fit the bottom openings of my older Aero Bars perfectly, helping to cut down on wind noise.
They were fine. Didn’t stop the whistling like I thought on my aero bars, but they filled the gaps as expected.
Was just i needed to replace a missing section on my aeroblades. Just like all other orders from etrailer the item arrived quickly and fit perfectly.

I forgot they are up on the roof or under the aero bar because they are perfect. I place Thule XXL cargo boxes and Kayaks up in the roof bars, so they get a lot of use and have gotten a lot of use over the year. Best price and value on the net.
