This endcap is essential to keep part from flying off the Thule rail. when we lost one (it became damaged and loose) our option was to order an entire new rail ($$$) or find an encap. these encaps were perfect and i purchased extras in case future ones fall off.1638234

These replacement parts for my Thule car rack were perfect. They work perfectly.

I am often changing inserts to the top of my rack, like boat stops and stuff for paddle boards, and these end caps have not worn one bit.
