Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Thule replacement 1080 slide scale. This is going to replace the 1080 slide scale for your 43-inch Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars. Whether they have that silver finish or the black finish, this is going to slide right into the bottom channel to provide those measurements for you to make sure that your crossbars are going to be centered properly on your vehicle's roof. This will also act as kind of a dampening device to prevent any of the wind noise that could potentially pop up if you have that channel open. So, it is going to do a good job of helping to close that gap and to make sure that your crossbars are going to be centered on your roof.This is an exact replacement from Thule, so you can trust it's going to work for your setup.

But it is right at about seven and seven eighths of an inch long, about seven eighths of an inch wide. But because this is a Thule product direct replacement for your crossbars, you're not going to have to worry about fit issues or compatibility problems or anything like that.
